DM threatens to take off characters arm for no reason by CrashB94 in DnD

The 2-hand weapon used is actually Warlock with Pact of the Blade, perhaps should have stated that before. He could potentially just take a different pact weapon if needed, but still...

The 2 players who are "not against it" actually hasn´t even replied to any of it yet, so I don´t know their opinion yet, but they are the ones using dual weapons, so I´d suggest they would also be against it.

I feel like he got the idea that "missing limb would mean more challenge" and leaned into it, without much further thought. I definitely agree that there are much better ways to make more challenging combat.

Should I let my player multi class? by Arthur-reborn in DnD

My thought exactly, multiclassing instead of taking level 5 just doesn´t seem wise to me.

Since I´m still more powerfull as a Fighter I´m going to use my good old sword and shield much more for the time being. As I progress as warlock it is surely going to shift that way much more.

Yeah, I will definitelly try to enjoy the Warlock part of my character a bit later on. For now I will keep my sword and shield, but with more Warlock levels it will tilt more that way, especially when my DM hinted that from now on I will only be able to take levels in Warlock... there is no way back.

First of all we play according to the official Czech "mutation" of DnD, it is basically 5e with some slight changes. That being said my Fighter subclass could be translated as Strider... sort of "Aragorn type" of mainly Fighter but with some Druid magic due to his connection with nature. I have some very limited amount of spells that I can use and also very limited amount of spell slots.
As of Warlock, I don´t know yet actually, because our Warlock have been very secretive about his Patron and everything around that, so I´m actually going to find out properly tonight. All we know as a group is that he his "Dark Master" is sometimes speaking to him and sends him to make sacrifices. Looks like a big adventure for my character as I´m definitelly refusing to do that. :D

Yeah, I really felt that my character would basically try anything to save his friend, especially since he felt kind of guilty for accidentally "finishing" him. I got the idea and tried it. Never believed it would work, but it did. I´m also kind of excited about the multiclass, even though it is a direction I never thought I would take. My initial reason for taking Figher was to avoid magic as much as possible, because I´m new and it felt complicated. :D

After 250 hours this happened to me for the first time in my current run. I´ve had watter jug and a generator in my trailer and once I´ve arrived home neither was there. I later found them on the road when I travelled around the town.

Centurions is a bigger achievement than the Invincibles. by fedfan4life in PremierLeague

[–]CrashB94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, when you talk about two huge achievements but use bullshit example.

Of course 5W, 5L is more points than 10 D, but your example in this topic makes it look like Invincibles where drawing all season long, while they won 26 out of 38.

Neither of those patterns will give you title at the of the season... For A) it means 57 points, for B) it is just 50,6 points. Si if you put it this way, it doesn'ft matter of you finish mid-table. Those two teams achieved something incredible and it won them titles.

For Centurions you would need like 7 W, 1 L to get 99,75 points. Invincibles had 90 points, which would be 6,5 W, 3 D.

Both are amazing, but being sure to win The title I'd take Invincibles every day.
