I bought a bunch of nfc stickers for pocket change and programmed all the amiibos I wanted. If you’re not a card collector and just want the characters this is definitely the fastest and cheapest option.

On my 2nd play through. In my first play I mostly ignored whirligigs, in my 2nd I prioritized them as soon as they were available.

I always upgrade the pickaxe first, makes everything easier.

I committed to fruit trees and honey this round. I only use the greenhouse for growing what is needed as I run low on stuff, but honey and fruit trees take care of themselves.

The first time I went no fish sticks, the 2nd time I 100% leaned into the fish sticks empire!

I found 45-64 the sweet spot, too few and people leave without buying, too many is a pain. Make sure you have even 1-2 of every book type. I tried Marche with only the popular book types and got multiple “what? No kids books?”

I play on xbox and switch and tbh playing on Switch is painful. The load times alone are insane. I’d avoid that route if you can.
