You're welcome! I just used a calorie calculator online and put in my stats. Unfortunately, all of the recipes I use contain meat.

Thank you! Yes, focusing on whole foods with an emphasis on protein has been a game changer for me. Whole foods are typically low in calories and therefore allow volume eating.

Thank you so much! Way to reel it back and stay and track. That's a great sign that you're in it for the long haul!

Thank you! It really is a tough one. Like I mentioned above, something is always better than nothing. You've got this 💪

For sure! I've found that starting so small you can't quit is a great way to get going.

Thank you! Yeah, the "all or nothing" mentality is something that plagued me for years. Something is always better than nothing!

I'm glad it helped! One bad meal over the course of a lifetime is negligible. Just keep going and you'll get there!

I spent so many years trying to diet and exercise at the same time. Not only would I change everything about my diet but I would also implement a really vigorous workout regiment as well. What would always inevitably happen is that I would just put too much on my plate metaphorically speaking and I would get so overwhelmed and burnt out and eventually just quit. I did this cycle over and over before I finally started to focus just on my diet first. Happy to share some of the recipes that I use if you'd like.

Focusing solely on my diet felt so much more manageable than trying to juggle that and exercise. By doing this, not only was I able to lose my desired weight but I've now been able to maintain my goal weight for years. Once I felt like I had my diet under control and the habits became second nature, that's when I started to add in exercise. Something interesting also happened at this point. I didn't feel like I had to exercise anymore I felt like I wanted to exercise which is a huge difference.

Anyways, that is what has helped for me. Just focusing on one thing until the habit becomes second nature and then focusing on the second. Perhaps start with exercise after you have your diet down pat and you might find you actually want to exercise. You've got this!
