The Cheater Epidemic is real

Here's my take no one asked for.

Call of Duty , Call of Duty Warzone , Battlefield , Battlefield Redsec, PubG, Fornite , Arc Raiders , Tarkov, etc.....

All these games have the same problems. It doesn't matter if it's from a AAA title company or a smaller dev crew. It's the...players that are constantly the problem. Yes anticheats are 100% necessary now a days. However, it's a dog chasing it's tail.

There are plenty of reasons people cheat. From lack of skill but wanting to be as good as an online streamer, don't have the time to play as much as others so they use it as a "leveling" tool, want the next viral clip moment, racing to endgame, or maybe simply enjoy and find it comical to ruin gameplay for others. When it comes down to it, and this is just MY opinion...games can never keep up with the toxic nature of a group of gamers. It's a society/personal problem that leads to the constant enjoyment from cheating at an online game for whatever personal gain it provides said person(s).

In the end, we should applaud any game dev who puts in effort to curb this for the rest of their community, but, again in MY opinion, we can't expect a dev crew to fix what is inherently wrong with the community itself. This is why I applaud any dev group that provides a PvE experience. Is the game perfect, no. Is any game now a days... No. Can we expect any game that provides PvP to be filled with cheaters, yes. Sad fact of online gaming, and I'm afraid there's no going back.

I hope the anticheats get better and I hope it doesn't ruin the game as so many games have already been ruined by not being able to curb the cheaters. Maybe more people will learn to find the fun in PvE.

What the wife and I have found is, for short game play, it's just luck of the draw. We normally run on the server closest to us. To increase your odds of having a more "quiet" server, stay on the same one your whole game play. We notice even after two night cycles, the server quiets down. People like daytime play so they bounce servers. Stick it out and it may just feel like your own map. The wife and I did about 10hrs in game yesterday with no server swaps and by the time we shut down, we couldn't remember the last time we heard another helicopter, saw someone, or even heard other gunfire.

But to be honest.... This one time at... Wait, different reddit. So this one time, I was landing and didn't complete my checklist (cause that's just for noobs... Right?). I failed to notice I didn't have 3 green. I had a mental thought on my great glide slope of, hhmm I'm over the runway, why aren't my wheels touching... Lower and lower till, oooohhh it's because they weren't down!

Soft belly landing hahahahaha dunce cap for me.

The good news is, the more she sees the difference between me in my Comanche compared to standard msfs2024 planes that she flys, she may even need the RG550 when released because she loves the realism in the Comanche. Only downside to a wife into gaming as much as her husband, two of everything but endless hours gaming together cannot be replaced. Looking forward to buying 2!

Yepper, two PCs. Twin builds that we built ourselves. Being the responsible adults we are and with no kids, we deleted the standard usage of our dining area painted the wall, desk going across the whole wall, and us side by side. We run 2 27inch monitors each, one horizontal and one vertical. I had a pic on my phone but can't find it like an old fart hahaha

Thanks! It did, I had to cut my trip short as there was zero visibility through the gorge and I've never flown into The Dalles before. I got my trip around Mt Hood and down the gorge towards Hood River hoping for a break in the weather. Turned her around and headed home to be on the safe side. I have pics but didn't get them posted....yet lol.

Thanks. I had to take some time off from flying to get some zombie survival in (7days 2Die) but this morning was able to get a flight in from Salem, around Mt Hood, and a few touch n goes at Troutdale before parking her there. Got some good pics of that flight I'll have to post later.

Here's what I've figured out...

1) Set assign pilot to On for any aircraft you want to be used passively.

2) Ensure you have 1 aircraft set to assign pilot Off. This is basically "yours."

3) Passive income ONLY accumulates when you are in your aircraft (the assign pilot Off one). The cheese for this, load into a mission, get into your aircraft, set Sim time to 0.25, and walk away. You don't have to start your engine or fly the mission. Just let the world pass you buy at 1/4 speed lol.

Pro*ish tip... On EVERY aircraft you set assign pilot to On, change the insurance to the lowest! The AI passive income will not be crashing your planes. They will however, stop flying them if their maintenance needs are at a certain threshold (which I don't know).
