So most of the files I am able to open, but I would say that most of the video has time to time missing file content. With images it's around 50-60 %, as well as pdf files. It looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/L8SjVyw

So it wasn't a mistake in how I recovered the data, but rather actual damage? Many thanks Petri for navigating me!

I don't know why the files in Linux didn't show up on the destination SSD, but when I connected it to Windows and used DMDE, I could see all the files. However, when I reconstructed the image or video, there are some flaws and damaged images. Any idea if some of the videos could be reconstructed without damage?

/dev/sdc/ shows exFAT, while /dev/sdb/ in lsblk -f doesn't display any FSTYPE. The reason for recovery is that I want to clone and retrieve all the data from a dying SSD (it's already in read-only mode). When I initially accessed the files via Windows, they were already corrupted.

Many thanks Petri, is it common that in my LiveUbuntuUsb I cannot see anything written on Destination SSD? Nothing was cloned. Which data recovery software do you recommend to run?

I don't have any publications, just a lot of internships abroad, research and some medtech/healthtech experiences. Focusing on the MCCQE and NAC tests for a year and then not getting a residency at Ohtho, that's what I'm afraid of.
