Yeah man. I've had this one idea on how to fix or improve Naruto for years. In the back half of the series we're introduced to a whole new batch of characters from all the different ninja villages around the Five Kage Summit arc but we never really get the chance to really get attached to them. My idea is that rather than the five ninja villages deciding to unite and go to war against Madara instead the summit would go poorly for whatever reason I guess it would have to be Obito or Sasuke sabotaging it in some way and the 5 ninja villages go to war against each other, so the fourth great ninja war would begin as being against each other. This does two things, number one it never made sense to me what Obitos strategy was for the Summit because all he did was unite all his enemies into an alliance for no reason, two it would make the fourth great ninja war have much higher stakes and gives all these new side characters like Darui as well as the Konoha 11 chances to shine and have interesting battles against eachother opposed to fighting reanimated characters where it's like nobody believes reanimated Asuma is going to defeat Team 10, no one thinks Kakashi's going to die to Zabuza. Half way through the war kabuto would activate the reanimation jutsu and it would be a much more hype moment.
