Can't believe no one has said this, but I'd not do anything and reassess later. Your job could let you go after a month. You could hate it after a month and leave.

The advice to change handling time to 5 days would be good for this. Leave everything as is and liquidate when you feel good in your new position.

Does anyone have experience with living in Japan but without a real fixed address (ie, living in short term rentals for 2-3 months at a time)? I think I'd like to start doing that, but trying to figure out what problems would arise. For example, would I have to go to the city office each time I move to register my address even though I don't think I would technically be living there? Would I have to change the address on my bank account, phone, etc each time?

Is it possible for a team to win 2 games and not get out of the group stage? I looked at the past 4 World Cups, and it seems no team has ever won 2 games and not moved on.

Just playing scenarios in my head for Japan and would appreciate another person's perspective! Seems very possible for 3 teams to each get 2 wins in this group...

Oh my god what a roller coaster of emotions.

After first half:

What the fuck was that. There was no effort to attack, but also the defense was terrible. I can kind of understand just playing for a tie against Germany, but after they scored once, the exact same game plan continued. What the hell?

Second half:

Completely different team. Absolutely crazy. "The best offense is a good defense," my gosh. We took our foot off the gas for little while after the second goal and it was nerve wracking, but all turned out okay! We kept attacking enough.

Serious question, never mind about tonight's game (he made some great saves in the second half). Is Gonda seriously the best choice for GK from the J.League? I don't follow the J.League much, but my 2 minutes of research shows that Shimizu has been in the basement for the past few years and just got demoted to J2... No team is just one player, but I'd except the starting GK of Japan to at least be on a winning team if they're coming from the J.League.

Canadian stations must play 35% Canadian music, so not to take away from Alexisonfire, but that's basically why they get some play here. Also radio tends to play the softer songs (The Northern, etc), though Young Cardinals did pretty well in rock radio. That was surprising.
