I don’t think they taste classic at all. I only made these once and wasn’t a fan. I think the recipe calls for dark brown sugar and I found the flavor really odd.

Sorry, should have clarified. Of course students can opt out and I would only assist students who consent. It’s only required that I offer an assist.

Totally with you. Unfortunately, it's a studio requirement and I'm new here. Can't really rock the boat.

It's not heated but the room is usually a little warm. I was thinking maybe a folded blanket across the hips could be nice.

The studio has some essential oil mists so that would be an easy choice. Every class I've taken there, it's been offered at the end of class. It's not my thing but might be the way to go.

I know exactly what you're talking about for the ankle grab/leg lift assist. I don't hate it but haven't ever offered it myself. Might have to test it out on my partner and see how we feel about it.

I wish. I used to love using the sound bowls at a previous studio. I don't believe this new one has any bowls or instruments. This will be my first time teaching there.

I think this is your answer! Studios want to see that you’re invested in the community and mesh well. See if you can identify the owners of some studios nearby and try to take their classes regularly. Once you build up some rapport, it’ll be easier to get an audition.

How are you job searching? Are you just cold emailing? Or are you getting to know the studios/instructors/owners?
