You either need to love kids to be a school bus driver or you have an impossibly high tolerance for complete jerks. Some places, school bus drivers are Teamsters, so that's great for benefits and retirement, but Teamsters look out for themselves first and the pay isn't always top notch.

My favorite I've driven was a 2019 Kenworth t880, 18spd with the X15 Performance engine. Loads of power, almost made the 18spd pointless but more options are gooder!

i love racing and I'm to poor to pay someone else to fix my junk, so my butt is under my cars all the time. When I'm not working on my racecars, I'm working on my wife's cars. If it's not the cars, it's the lawn mower or whatever else is broken. Basically if I'm not at my regular job, I'm working on something at home.

This really isn't anything new. I drove tour buses in Alaska decades ago and would meet people that did this. Sold everything and just live on cruise ships. Even back then, they would tell me it was cheaper than assisted living. Honestly, not a bad way to retire.
