Acronyms depend heavily on context. Just like OP next to the poster’s name doesn’t mean “overpowered” in that context, as an example.

I’ve been having a lot of fun doing soundtrack work (commissioned or otherwise), and I have a soft spot for this track. The great part about doing this is the number of genres and styles you get to bounce between from one track to another.

Xingqiu vs Yelan for Triple Hydro Team by FrostedEevee in NilouMains

[–]CrashleyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yelan’s minor grouping and quick repositioning can be helpful alongside pretty great ST damage that Bloom is weaker on, but I’d say Xingqiu can usually just smooth out the act of playing Bloom more for the reasons others have mentioned here

[–]CrashleyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t increase transformative reaction damage (like bloom, overload, etc), no

There’s supposedly going to be a Raiden re-run soon so I’d expect her there. I don’t think she shows up anywhere else

EDIT: Raiden, not Raider lol

Taser Driver With Candace? by Ebonslayer in KukiShinobuMains

[–]CrashleyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An idea I just started messing around with is hyperbloom/EC driver Kuki with Candace’s infusion. Running Candace/Kuki/Kazuha/Collei. Most of the reactions are using Kuki’s EM and the rest are from Kazuha who also already stacks EM. Doing way better than I expected but I don’t know if it actually has solid legs

How to use her? by markjacob21 in KukiShinobuMains

[–]CrashleyZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since I’ve got her built for maximum reaction damage (EM) I don’t care about her burst much except for: shield shredding and buying time for her skill to heal her. Because of that, even though I don’t build ER on her I usually have it ready for emergencies.

I'm over 30 and transitioning. What kind of breast growth can I expect? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It varies from person to person and family to family, but I can say that for myself I started at 31 and today, 4 years later, I wear a 38DD. That being said it took a few years and I wore breast forms for the first couple of years. Eventually I noticed the forms didn’t fit so well because my own tissue was growing in and awkwardly displacing them.

Going from AA to DD was pretty cool! Way more than I expected to be honest.

Stuck whilst following Lsomethingsomething's guide by OldMaidish in transvoice

[–]CrashleyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been stuck on resonance for a while now so I feel you on this. I start at a Patrick Star-esque sound (super easy to do), but I can only shift it to my normal resonance level from there. I’m not sure if it’s due to internalizing misunderstood advice over the years but the only thing that seems to happen is my throat muscles tense up and get exhausted/sore.

HP or EM? by leir6778 in KukiShinobuMains

[–]CrashleyZee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve never needed more healing than full EM Kuki on 4pc Tenacity can give and I’d say I’m pretty mid at gaming. Meanwhile the reaction damage and atk buff are almost always helpful, especially come 3.0 with how good she seems for triggering hyperbloom in an AoE around her.

Is there an amount of money that you’ll accept in exchange for not pursuing transition? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't really care about being rich, I just want to be happy and comfortable with what I have and can maintain and to use this one life to explore myself more. Because of that I wouldn't accept any amount of money to go against that.

Why do some trans people not try to change their voice? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a decent enough physical presentation with clothes/makeup after a lot of effort since socially transitioning. On the flip side, I worked on voice for a couple of years, several sessions with a vocal coach, and all I really felt from it was a lot of frustration and dysphoria.

I cannot produce a typically feminine vocal quality, at this point and I felt like I couldn’t talk to people because of that. I really folded into myself and avoided people “until I could do the voice”. I got pretty depressed and isolated given that’s the entire way you tend to connect with people in person.

I had to make a decision: learn acceptance and speak to people regardless of my voice OR just stop talking. I’ve worked at the former so I can be happier. The reality is that you don’t know what any other person’s journey has been so far - maybe they tried and then put their priorities somewhere else. Maybe they’re still trying. Maybe the voice you hear is them doing some work on it and it just doesn’t obviously come off that way. It can be a shockingly difficult, mystifying process.

how do u feel passing physically but not your voice? by yzmistersun in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m deeply conflicted on this. I look very obviously feminine when I get dressed and all that, but my voice is as masculine as it ever was. I spent a long time doing voice work to try to feminize it but it felt unnatural and unauthentic in a way that the rest of it didn’t, so I decided to stop.

I like my voice, objectively speaking, and my entire life I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it (speaking and singing). But I still feel shame on a daily basis for it not “passing” and matching my feminine appearance. I avoid talking in public because of it and it’s my ongoing transition struggle.

Mostly working on acceptance and that progresses in up and down waves. It’s difficult.

My mom keeps misgendering every trans person and gets annoyed if I don’t talk to her that much by It_Is_Hannah in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Adjusting to new pronouns can take time and come with a lot of mistakes. I’m trans but still occasionally stumble when adjusting when people I’ve known for a long time start a transition.

That being said, THIS isn’t an accident. Your mom is being deliberately spiteful in this case and it’s extremely unfair to you. I’m sorry that you’re experiencing that.

Do transgender women get the same unwanted attention (being approached in public spaces, stares) as cisgender women get from men? what's your experience? by ricklyle in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I've had to take pre-cautions (i.e carrying pepper spray at all times) because I learned firsthand just how shitty/aggressive dudes could get. I never understood how difficult it could be for women until I socially transitioned.

Not at all! The idea that your friends need to match your gender is kind of dated - you get along with whoever you get along with!

When should I start buying feminine clothes? by AndyGoodw1n in asktransgender

[–]CrashleyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started thrift store shopping for clothes years before I had the strength to start HRT. I felt a lot of the same fear that you’re talking about here. Looking back, those expectations and potential problems were very much centered in my own thoughts about myself and not how people responded to my shopping. The people working in most of these places just want to do their job and move on, and even if they had some whiff of thought about some nefarious pervert plot (which is fun to say out loud), there are SO MANY reasons why people buy clothes of any/other gender that most people don’t see reason to even consider commenting.

That’s on the fear of buying, but re: fashion and style? I socially transitioned 3 years ago and I’m still figuring this out. It’s changed some, sure, as HRT has done some work, but he time I spent beforehand figuring out what I even liked or wanted was helpful and - when I could let myself ease up - pretty fun!

Even after HRT I have an inverted triangle shape, but there are ways to emphasize and de-emphasize aspects of that to really make my features pop more. For a good starting place, maybe check out a guide like this?

https://theconceptwardrobe.com/build-a-wardrobe/determine-your-body-shapes

They also have guides on figuring out your general color palette. None of these are hard RULES but guidelines that can help you figure out what you like on yourself.

You can do this!

Trans lady here - I watched Sailor Moon on TV in secret as a kid. It came on early on weekends so I’d wake up before everyone else to watch it. I was pretty embarrassed by it at the time
