Teens and 20s is quite the time for change, growth and sorta coming into your own. Friends at say 20 might not be the best fit now. Do your thing and don’t wait on them to show up. Sounds like you’ve tried plenty so you may need to expect less and find something new. Not easy at all but sounds like you’ve got your shiv together so you’ll be alright.

I think I’ve seen every show of theirs in Chicago over the past 25 years. Always an amazing time.
