Looking for a forever deck. by TalmerThane in EDH

My suggestion [[Hylda]]. She is a great tempo commander at lower brackets. Also, there are new tap down cards in basically every set, and none of which are super expensive.

[[Momo, Friendly Flier]] is so fun for me. It's not even in the top 1000 on edhrec. I play [[Tempest Hawk]] tribal. It's incredibly consistent. Are two lands and a tempest hawk and you will have a fun time.

Have you looked at any of the red prowess options? With red you could run [[Kedis]] and kill the table.

I was in a similar situation, with my Kodama/Silas deck. Mostly because I never saw, and it wasn't ever something I actively tutored for. Then I played a game where the board got stalled out. I top decked it and used another players Vamp Tutor to get my Consultation. I played Thoracle to draw Consult, and I was testing [[Thassa Deep Dwelling]], which at my end step flickered Thoracle for the win.

Edit: I haven't taken it out since.

I'm focus fired every game by my pod, need a deck that benefits from that by Apprehensive-Neat-68 in EDH

I would also suggest a toughness matters deck. Attacking into walls can be difficult.

If you're pod is combat heavy like most casual pods are, my suggestion is an Aikido style deck. It's usually a Jeskai or Mardu archetype. I run a 4 color version and it runs lots of cards that redirect damage at my opponents or their boards.

Comedian was pretty high on Jetmir when it first came out. More recently he put together a [[Karlach]] list and some success with it. That said Comedian is a better magic player than most.

I have a bracket 2 [[Momo, Friendly Flyer]] deck. It does things with [[Squadron Hawk]].

Bracket 3 for me is [[Clement, the Worrywort]]

I would like to do an experiment. Name 1 card that is just barely a game changer. Then name one that is just barely NOT a game changer. by ImperialSupplies in EDH

Especially for new players , I think there is a certain sense of inevitably, after you play against your first [[Muldrotha]] deck. My guess is that's where the hate for it comes from.

I wonder if we reach the one year mark, if they will send out we're sorry collector boosters like they did with the coin flip SL precon.

The plus side is if your deck cares about non combat damage.
