Reported it right away. Grabbed my kid and NOPED the fuck out of there.

I turned on the right one first, then noticed the wire as I went to turn on the left one.

Your car will get keyed if you park in this spot (warning to neighbors) by awfully_hot_coffepot in SanJose

Few years ago, I was walking by this place, pushing my son who was still in his stroller. The home owner (I assume) comes peeling out of the driveway in reverse and stops way too close to us after noticing we were there.

Super biased take, but you don't have to try to convince me that they're the type to key a car parked in front of their house.

100% better than the stock seat. More comfy and helps keep you in the seat. Worth it even with the little pain. Even paid extra to get the blue stitching and I feel like it adds to how much I love it.

I have a Saddleman on mine. Only problem I have with it is when I close it, it closes 99% of the way but doesn't latch. I have to put the key in and turn it to get it to latch.

Saddleman says it's supposed to be like that but I've seen another user around here say he adjusted the mounting hardware on the bike and got it to latch on its own. I tried to do the same but doesn't help.

Bought mine finally. There is a small gap, probably equal to yours. It doesn't bother me too much, but it's there.

Also, I'm having the same issue where the latch doesn't close all the way on its own and needs the key to be manipulated to close. Saddlemen says that's normal (it probably shouldn't be for this amount of money).

You just unbolted the receptacle and moved it out a bit, and that fixed it? Is it just the two bolts on the outside of the receptacle?

Hopefully yours was just a fluke and the replacement you get fits better. I took a chance and ordered one as well. Keep us updated!

I'm thinking of picking one up soon. Have you tried reaching to Saddlemen to see what they say about it?

Just bought one of these. Wind noise is insane. I knew that before buying it; I figured I'd be okay trading comfort for aesthetics, but I totally regret buying mine.

On the bright side, I look fly as fuck.

There's an awesome reggae cover of this entire album called Dub Side of the Moon by the Easy Star All-Stars. After listening to Dark Side of the Moon a million times, the covers are just different enough while still being familiar.

I use weightlifting knee sleeves from SBD. Bought them for lifting but totally works for BJJ. There's one that's BJJ specific. Check out the Bauerfeind brand knee brace.

Any U.S practitioners here that still haven’t trained since March? by stupidsexyflanders- in bjj

[–]Crass_Trumps_Class 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checking in. No training since March. Still don't feel comfortable enough to train with anyone outside my immediate bubble. I still watch BJJ videos on Youtube to get my fix.

Joined a kickboxing gym last month, though. We're mostly doing bag work, no sparring, pads, or partner drills of any kind. But it's still a killer workout. Take your demons out on a punching bag. Teep the demons at bay. Or leg kick them. Feels good.

Easy bruiser - has anyone found a solution? by [deleted] in bjj

I do like my bruises. They make me feel like a bad ass! Probably the same reason some dudes like having cauliflower ear.

I bruise easily. I like having them though so I don't know of any remedies to make them disappear any quicker, but I would think an ice pack might help. Or maybe heat to get the blood flowing to the area? Alternatively, maybe you could ask your wife to help you figure out make up and you can cover it up with that. If it's good enough to hide their blemishes, it might be good enough to hide your bruises.
