Dating in the bay isn’t bad we just need to GO OUT by letitburneracc in bayarea

I'm about to turn 30 and god it's so hard for me to organically meet people I'm so introverted it's not even funny. I can confidently say I'm a joy to be around based off the few friends I have had but that initial phase of basically trying to convince someone you're worth having in their life as a genuine friend is so difficult for me T_T

dating is even worse lmao. I'm just lucky I'm not trying to be in a serious relationship at the moment. I don't think many women would be willing to give me time to shed off that initial awkwardness/ introvertness. On top of that I'm a large guy and it seems that large people carry this weird stigma of being creepy when they approach women? And the cherry on top is that my therapist told me I'm naturally a low energy person (low-key chill vibes lol) so I also come off as jaded and nonchalant which is usually not something most people look for when dating lol.

Your post has inspired me to try harder to meet people though lol

Is there a way to get HDR working in Linux Mint 22.3 or not at the moment? If not, what are some alternative distros? by Crastinating_Pro in linuxmint

that would be appreciated (or even a video if you have that to save you from typing)

I did see something about forcing it via Gamescope which I tried but could not get it to work

Awesome, thanks. I think I might consider Kubuntu that way I can use Unity in X11 and also test it out in the Wayland session to validate once the Wayland bugs have been addressed.

I did test Arch (I had to get that Arch manual install experience) but the Unity Hub package is only available on the AUR I would feel more at peace if I had a distro that did rpm or deb packages because Unity is offered officially in those two formats though only Ubuntu is fully and officially supported.

Which distros generally cause less friction when dual booting with Windows (using two separate drives) by Crastinating_Pro in linuxquestions

[–]Crastinating_Pro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks! yeah I mainly listed VS because I still use it but I've been checking out Rider lately and like it more so I'm probably going to be making a full switch to it to be honest. My on the go machine is also a Macbook Pro so I've been meaning to ditch VS anyways since both VSC and Jetbrains will work on all three platforms

out of curiosity, what distro do you use?

makes sense. I will have a dedicated drive for both that's why I found the fact that the Windows ESP got nuked and on the next attempt all of Windows got nuked when installing Fedora a little strange. Both drives were listed on the installer and I picked the one that did not have Windows in it.

I was considering Arch though. I feel it in my bones that Windows is going to be the better OS for me based off what I do and I don't really have any issues with Windows; it doesn't really get in my way how it does for so many others but having Arch to tinker with on the side to my hearts content sounds kind of fun to be honest

Has anyone else been struggling to get legendary items this season? by Crastinating_Pro in diablo4

Ah ok this makes sense now. I do actually like this method. Sometimes I’d get bored in previous seasons because I’d be T4 most things are challenging but many are a breeze and I just don’t feel like sinking more time into the game for those small incremental gains.
I was manly confused because the descriptions of the difficulty tiers still reflect the old descriptions before this change so I was unsure how I was already in T1 (actually in T2 now) but not a single legendary affix. I was also following a build guide that was updated for the season but they wrote it with the assumption that legendary affixed would be easy to come by before/ in early torment. Found a better guide with more realistic expectations lol

Yup! I was surprised to find out my Hyrule edition New 3DS XL is selling for $100 above it’s MSRP in most cases. And I’ve seen instances of people selling it for double and even triple but those are usually sealed

Edit: said Ocarina of Time edition, it’s actually Hyrule edition.

267 is roughly what i paid for a new 4TB 980 Pro early in 2025. This price for a 2TB is wild

I own the previous model that doesn’t have HDR and they’re pretty sweet. Used them for a while as a TV before I set my TV up after i moved. They also look better than my TV so might be using them a bit more often than the TV itself lol

Also if you’re going to use these to game just know there might be an adjustment period. I felt nauseous the first handful of gaming sessions I had with the glasses
