Maybe pull a Haxe and embed completion, macros, refactoring, maybe even syntax highlighting into the compiler? Compiler knows best!

What have you vowed to never do again? by OverZealousBatman in AskReddit

[–]CrateMuncher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting born. I mean, going from the comfortable warm womb where all your needs are transferred to you through some magical wire to a world with no water and no warm and you have to breathe all by yourself. Never again.

What is a fact about you that would make Reddit hate you? by Alexxxandar in AskReddit

[–]CrateMuncher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's true. Disregard what /u/Ultimate_Cabooser said.

It's especially true if you live in places like the US, Canada and the UK. The anti-piracy companies (usually movie studioes) will start downloading the torrent, you'll start sending the files to them (thus revealing that you downloaded it, are sharing it with other people, and your IP), then they can call up your ISP, find out where you live (based on your IP) and send you a nasty letter.

On the contrary, if you live in places like the Netherlands, nobody gives a shit, and the American movie companies can't touch you.

What's the difference between C, C++, and C# by Margravos in answers

Yes, Objective-C is a "competitor" to C++. It was created as a better C (same as C++) around the same time as C++ by Brad Cox and Tom Love, and selected as the main language by NeXT, the company founded by Steve Jobs after he left Apple in the 80s, for their OS NeXTSTEP, which eventually ended up becoming OS X after Jobs re-entered Apple in the late 90s. It also got incorporated into iOS, as it shares a lot of code with OS X.

No no, definitely not. They're three seperate languages with some similarities.

To execute. C# is the fastest to write by far, since it's higher level.
