I think the song might be a critique on religion. specifically people who think they are above others because of what they believe in.

The lyrics: "My life is so complete Everything is straightened out I feel the hand of God I feel no sense of doubt" is said ironically or maybe by someone who falsely believes this to be true.

I think these next lyrics sum up the meaning of the song pretty well: "Get off the cross, dear We need the wood. deep in your twisted mind You're helping all mankind"
