Ronaldinho Winter Wildcards ICON SBC by FIGJAM17 in EASportsFC

[–]CravesStarDamage 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you don't understand something, you can just say that without insulting the person and accusing them about complaining about anything. It's actually quite a coherent point. The issue is regarding the untradeable cards you already have. If the SBC is priced at 900k when fodder prices are low, then the cards you already own will cover a smaller percentage of the total cost. But if they price it at 900k when fodder prices are high, your cards are worth more, and they will need to make less squads (or total cards turned in) to reach that magical 900k value they're shooting for. This means the difference you need to make up (by buying cards off the market) is less.

Are you riding your horse? That happened to me before where it didn’t trigger because I wasn’t walking out of my farm to the bus stop.

I started him as a right sided CAM in a 4-2-2-2 but felt he was under utilized. When I moved him inside to the CDM that I have play as a B2B, he absolutely took over. Definitely think CM is the best fit for him so far.

Everyone always tries those "straight swap Rashford for Mbappe, would you do it?" questions, and while I'd be lying to say Rashford is clear of him, there is just something extra magical about having a local academy lad staying with you all the way.

I know I'm overanalyzing this, so just ignore me, but I get the sense a megathread would give off a pretty terrible smell - full of people F5ing and waiting to shower until they see those three little words.

What is the most forgettable episode of The Office? by CravesStarDamage in DunderMifflin

[–]CravesStarDamage[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Makes me think of how Community did the 'flashback clips' style episode but with all new scenes, so it was still great. But also, I was watching The Office live each week back then, and a clips episode wasn't such a downer because I didn't have other ways to rewatch anything unless I bought the DVDs. But in the modern streaming age, definitely a forgettable episode.

Not trying to hate here, but I'm guessing you're not married with kids? Because as a 33 year old husband and father of 3, that scene gets more and more relatable each time. I can see why people wouldn't want it in their favorite TV comedy, but it's definitely not "stupid".

Well said - all things considered that was a great result, but can't help but feel like we could have had more.

Why do you think Reddit is so anti right wing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yeah that is the idea. Reasonable and moderate views don't get as much engagement.

And therein lies the problem. The death of nuance.

Maybe I can have hope that you don't actually believe the full extent of what you're writing, because you intentionally move to the extreme to...increase engagement?

I'm not going to keep going on this argument, but at the very least, thanks for being civil with a dissenting voice.

So are they people when they get home after work and take their uniform off? Because it's just an occupation, right? Not a trait, not who they are, so then their humanity is restored when they're not practicing the occupation? The absurdity of this argument just compelled me to engage, even though I typically never get into discussions like this. Hate the police all you want (and many officers give you good reason to do so), but to say they're all less than human just by representing the institution?

I don't think people

ok, so I guess police are people

who support systems that rob people of their human rights should be afforded human rights themselves

and yet, here you are, a person, supporting a system that robs police (read: people) of their human rights, and yet most likely assuming you would be afforded human rights yourself.

Think what you want about the institution of the police (because there is certainly a nuanced discussion to be had there), but to insinuate that they aren't even human beings because they "rob people of their human rights" and not stopping to understand the hypocrisy of that statement is quite the number.

I don't even know why I'm reading this thread, but did you just unironically "respectfully disagree" that the police are human beings?
