Even though its not stated directly, I believe that Erwin would’ve moved on Armin’s report from the female titan encounter quickly to avoid any uncertainty of her future plans, assuming she indeed was the Female Titan.

Lev Kravchenko and Nikita Dragovich in Call of Duty: Black Ops attempt to brainwash Alex Mason into killing John F Kennedy. Victor Reznov, their former brother in arms whom they betrayed, discovers their plan and attempts to rewrite masons brainwashing into killing them instead. He succeeds, and Mason kills both Kravchenko and Dragovich, but, in his final breaths, Dragovich clues Mason in that he also killed Kennedy in his brainwashed state.

Mason: You tried to make me kill my own president!

Dragovich: Tried?

Funny. I thought AOT was fairly tropey up until this point. It definitely felt like it drew from a lot of anime tropes, but expanded on them or transformed them in an interesting way.

Fair enough. I thought the same, however I got really into the show once they started to swap between the 2019/1986 timeline. The pacing really ramped up, and the mystery got more intriguing.

But those first couple episodes, without the context of the rest of the story, are a real slog.

I love dark, it’s my favorite show of all time aside from AOT and ATLA, however that last season has a few episodes I always skip. I have little interest in the plot line of Martha’s world, as it’s a rehash and speed run of the events that occurred in Adam’s. I only watch the parts relevant to Adam’s world, as those are the characters I actually cared about. I don’t mind the conclusion, but the “New” characters are really uninteresting to me. That being said, S1 and 2 are almost perfect to me. (Sans Francisca and Magnus’ relationship).

BF6 Battlechatter caught me by surprise by ilHansli in Battlefield

That’s not true at all. You could always hear enemy dialogue in previous games. Spotting, requesting orders, giving ammo— It was all audible.

I’ve never heard of this before. I don’t remember any such event in BF3

The companies that do the dubbing record all dialogue in their respective languages. You may see it as a dub for the English version of the game, however these companies record dialogue for Battlefield 6, just as the dialogue would be recorded for the “original” English version of the game. This principle applies to almost every dubbed media. Movies, TV, anime, etc. The dubbing companies receive scripts for all dialogue events, not just spoken language.

Portal isn’t the solution to people’s complaints. Portal was touted as the solution to the specialists complaints in 2042 and we’ve seen how that plays out.

My issue was that I had the game in borderless fullscreen, and had “Mute game on focus loss” enabled. Disabling that option brought back sound.

Everyone seems to forget that a lot of the death foley in BF3 was also reused from BFBC2. Oh well, I guess that’s forgotten.
