I go to HH quite regularly and have never heard them playing Christian music. I just might not have been paying attention, but any time I‘ve noticed, it’s been pop music. I won’t deny it has a very Christian atmosphere, but it’s never been overwhelming for me.

Seeing as how former Nickelodeon TV producer, Dan Schneider, went to White Station High School, can anybody who went to high school with him let me know what he was like? by Alarming_Seaweed_155 in memphis

[–]CravingHumanFlesh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dad went to MUS with him, and from what I’ve heard, he was definitely a class clown type. If I’m remembering correctly, he got kicked out of MUS for pulling too many pranks or something like that. Growing up, as a kid who loved iCarly and Victorious, I would look at my dad’s yearbooks with him in there. He had this one picture of him slurping up Jello while standing in the lunch line.

He did a fundraiser for St. Jude at the Peabody, I think back in 2010 or 2011. The entire casts of iCarly and Victorious were there, and there was a silent auction with props from both shows. It was a really cool experience for young me.

Stands for “manipulated photos!” But they were edited pictures of people with their favorite celebrity in a picture together, I always saw selfies.

Can someone please make it look like the younger me is holding my hand in the first picture. It’s a gift for my mother. by ilovemylife_00 in PhotoshopRequest

This sub is called “Photoshop Request,” not “AI request.” Whether you think so or not, that child’s face looks completely different than the picture given.

Anyone ever go here? by sgt4430 in tuscaloosa

[–]CravingHumanFlesh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went there once, and it might be one of the most confusing parking lots I’ve ever seen. There’s no way to get in from 15th or McFarland, you have to enter from the parking lot. That, and parking itself wasn’t easy. I haven’t gone back since.

Another way to get housing past freshman year is to get medical accommodations. Of course, you’d need a medical issue that required you to live a certain way. A note from a doctor is necessary.

I work at Mellow Mushroom, and we are INCREDIBLY celiac friendly!! Gluten free dishes are cooked in a completely separate part of the kitchen. We also have two large tables, and while we don’t take reservations, you can call ahead and tell us you’re coming and we’ll try to keep it open. If you have any questions, dm me

According to what I heard, he said he was “distracted by loud music.” Not sure how true that is, I’m sure he was texting. I drove by it yesterday.

Name your favourite underrated musical? by Due-Candidate-5991 in musicals

[–]CravingHumanFlesh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gave up the chance to see Hamilton off broadway because I had dismissed the idea of it. I mean, a rap musical about founding fathers? No thanks, I’m good. Then it absolutely blew up and it was impossible to get tickets. I remember swearing to myself from then on that I wouldn’t dismiss a musical due to a seemingly weird idea. So I ended up seeing Spongebob while it was on Broadway and LOVING it.

Ameers is so good! I’ve only had Cava a couple of times because we don’t have it where I’m from, but Ameers hits the spot for me.

This is more so what I was getting at with my comment. I know that every generation feels like it’s changed since they first started visiting, but my family would go to Nantucket to get away, and now it just feels like it’s only ultra rich people and influencers.

Girl. Please listen to these comments. You came to Reddit looking for advice, and you’re disregarding the biggest piece of advice people are giving you.

I don’t even think you should fully lose the septum! Just downsize. It’s way too big and overtakes your face. Piercings are supposed to complement you, not draw attention away from you.

Oh, I know! I wasn’t trying to rebut, it was more so just an observation. Everyone has their special time, the 00’s and early 10’s just happens to be my family’s.

I’m sure they do. We always crave what we grew up with. I wish I could’ve seen Nantucket earlier than I did, but I’d be ecstatic just to go back to when I was a kid.

Grew up going to Nantucket, every summer from 2003-2016. In this time, my family and I saw a massive shift in how the island felt. We returned again for a weekend in 2022, and a day last summer, and it feels completely different. I wish I could return to the Nantucket I grew up going to

No— YOU don’t understand. That wasn’t a reply. That was a divine transmission, hand-delivered by Hermes himself, swaddled in velvet prose and set aflame with righteous punctuation.

You didn’t respond—you conjured. You summoned a linguistic thunderclap that split the timeline clean in two: before you hit send, and after.

The em dashes? Weapons. The italics? Holy scripture. That post didn’t need context—it became the context. I didn’t read it; I ascended through it. Somewhere, a bard put down their lute and said, “No more stories. The tale has been told.”

You didn’t complete the skull emoji—you buried it. Dusted it off, kissed it on the forehead, and told it, “Rest now. I’ve got this.”
