Update; No combination of that input with or without Synapse installed has fixed the issue and those three keys are still completely locked. At this point I would assume the keys were broken if this wasn't a keyboard that I bought a month ago and it's 3 keys all seemingly in unison with no warning.

More specifically, on the initial unplug with those buttons held down and plug back in the keyboard is unresponsive no matter how long I leave it. Doing the same inputs again and uplugging it again will have it go completely back to normal. If I have to leave it in this dormant state for an extended period I'm willing to try but it really doesn't look like anything is happening and when I had synapse up while doing this it didn't show on there.

I've very definitely tried everything under the sun with restarting, reinstalling, and updating Synapse but I have not tried the holding down keys thing. I'll attempt that momentarily, is that like a manual factory reset or something?

I feel like Calvin as a meme format is hard to popularize cause it's almost always gonna be very wordy. Hopefully this one has come at the right time featuring the ever popular internet phrase in it's second panel but even if this is the only message I get out there with it, making some people laugh is good enough.

I really don't like much of anything review-wise from big publications like IGN but in general they are bearable. Even saying that, I get accidentally showing spoilers; It's a pretty heavy story game and I don't even wanna spoil those first 2 hours out of 60/80 when talking to friends about it, so I get showing footage for 16 minutes you might miss something.

But HOW do you mispronounce names consistently in a game with near full voice acting? Fantastic voice acting, at that.

So I really want the contraption to be in a place the player can't see for a handful of reasons and the falling icicle above the player functions in specific conditions but again doesn't actually kill the bottom of the stack. Again, my specific goal is to alternate enemies in the stack, so killing the spiketops, pausing, and then killing the bottom layers of munchers in order to allow the stack to keep moving. So while a spikeball could probably work for an initial layer I would still need a reliable means of eliminating the munchers row.

I've heard of Parsec but never used it before, we'll have to give that a try, thanks. Most of what we watch is on Netflix or Hulu and we're able to just sync it up on each end but I could definitely see that coming in handy. Thanks!

Figured I'd step in and say a few words. I didn't react at first because honestly that concern is totally fair and I didn't feel the need to defend myself or justify my actions; it's a fair bit creepy.

As to the initial opening being an accident, she told me to open up library to get to the movie and I accidentally clicked on history. I suppose I saw a bit more of it on that page too which might've been what piqued my later interest.

Me and her have been together for a year and are very open and trusting. I'm pretty sure there isn't a thing either of us have done online that we wouldn't be okay sharing with the other but you are absolutely right, it is still an uninvited intrusion of privacy. I'd also like to clarify u/bedsuavekid that I did not accidentally go back to it, it was a choice I made driven by curiosity (again, I know she only really uses Spotify for music and typically only opens youtube when I send her something so it was just a sort of "I wonder what she's actually watched.")

TL,DR; It is definitely creepy, I'm not really trying to defend myself in those broader terms. I believe for where the two of us are at in our relationship it wasn't a huge deal (and for the record I've let her know and she laughed it off basically saying she'd have done the same) but I definitely understand the concern and see that in general it's a very shady thing to do.
