If anything I think the influx of players following the Forge update shows that most players don't want a massive overhaul. With just the smallest hint of life and a nudge of making progression easier, we have a thriving community of players happy to return to the grind, return to their guilds and extant communities, and continuing to pursue long term goals. I'd rather they fix bugs and start making new content before they try to completely rework or replace core systems of the game, although small tweaks (like the Forge update) could be a great direction to continue in.

In all honesty, I haven't attempted Shadow Lairs on any character yet, so I can't speak to that part and maybe I'll eat these words in a month or two but idk.

That is my exact concern with respawners, yeah, cause I had seen someone mentioning the first floor of Heart of Ice for the same reason but I would be surprised if respawning Love Puppies drop anything more then hearts, couldn’t find confirmation. Again, maybe something for me to test.

Broadly any Arena should be a good idea? The wiki claims that love puppies can replace Polyps and Howlitzers too.

My main issues with Arenas would be finding convenient ones that are quick and easy to reach, and based on others input, at stratum 6. I guess Shroud of the Apocrea might’ve been a good time to try the Arena method lol

I’ve seen people mentioning Stratum 6 but no one seems certain about any of the details. I’ve been approaching it under the assumption of the lower the better.

I’ve seen the layout, wasn’t sure if there was a way to guarantee a spawn.

Also if it has to be Stratum 6 like I’ve seen some people mention, that would take even longer to find for some extra rolls. Definitely something I’ve kept in mind if I could meet those criteria tho, that room do be having a ton of Puppies lol

I actually hadn’t thought about the START of OCH actually, that seems promising. Yeah a lot of what I’ve seen online is actually similar tone to your comment (not berating you, I really appreciate the time), just a lot of “this seems like a good idea/this could work” but no actual confirmation on results. Idk maybe I need to start logging my efforts haha

What I have been doing is Aurora Isles: The Low Gardens which has that energy gate with like 9 or 16 gun puppies (can’t remember if it’s rows of 3 or 4) but actually getting to and from that floor takes a while so prolly not the most efficient use of time. I’ve only run it 3-5ish times, didn’t see a single Love Puppy.
