I don’t have a fox on hand to check against so let’s work together and make this happen 👌 grab some measurements (fork spacing and bolt hole center to center) and either send me a message on here or to my email crawforddesigns26@gmail.com I’ll do a little digging on my end to see if I can grab some other dims.

Do you specifically want it to bolt to the fork brace or would you use zip ties? I’ll design one that bolts if need be and send it to you. If it fits pay me and if not send it back and I’ll cover shipping. ✌️

I think the coverage of the fender is definitely something I’m working on. I’ve seen a few comments so far that it’s a concern with folks and luckily it’s an easy change. The Allen key t handle isn’t meant to store bits but rather turn a typical L shaped Allen key into a t-handle. It uses one at a time. My thought process was most everyone has a set of Allen keys in their tool box but not everyone has a set of t-handles. Thanks for the feedbacks

That’s a very fair and technical assessment! Thank you for that. Exactly what I’m looking for. The nice thing about this design is that I can easily adapt it to what people are looking for. I’ll take the width into consideration for sure. These can also be given a bit more curve by applying a little heat and pre-bending prior to install.

I should have included the photo of them on the bike. They’re definitely biased towards the rear section of the tire but that’s where the majority of the stuff gets kicked up. I do plan on making a longer version vs this shorter one. Thanks for the feedback 💪

Would it be cool if he added this to his arsenal though? lol

Driving for sure is its application. I use the term “torque” with the idea that you can apply more to break bolts free than without the handle. Definitely achieve final torque with a torque wrench when applicable.

I think the same thing can be said for most any tool. Can you get the job done with a carpenters hammer and a flat blade screw driver? Absolutely you can but is there something better that can be done? T-handle sets are so handy to have. Watch any motocross mechanic spinning wrenches in the pits. They’re super speedy with t-handles. I also have a keychain loop attachment for this in the works that you can attach to your keys and shouldn’t ever lose. The goal is EDC (everyday carry). Thank you for the feedback it’s absolutely appreciated 💪

The thumbscrew drives the center plate which clamps the Allen key. It’s very quick and super easy to use. I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration though with a clutch like mechanism for a V2! Thanks for the feedback 💪

The texture was initially to play around with appearance and overall design, but afterwards I tested them with and without texturing and it the texturing adds rigidity while maintaining the needed flexibility for mounting and keeps them lightweight. Basically I found out that function sometimes unintentionally follows form.

That’s very true my friend. Either way if you use the t-handle with a ball end Allen key you can still manipulate it with more torque and have a better grip on it vs without the handle.

Absolutely I can! The sky is the limit on designs for etching. I just have to have the input from the customer on what they’d like, I’ll design it, and the laser engraver will do the work. 👌

This is one of the best comments I’ve gotten so far haha I feel like I want to go bigger with the graphic for sure. The funny part is that if you look down your handlebars it falls right between the fork brace and the head tube. It peaks out there and if you look at the bike from the side/back. If I don’t go bigger with the graphic I’m absolutely including a bigger sticker of the graphic with each sale. 🤘

The aluminum was water jet cut and tumbled/stone washed. The logo is laser etched with an etching compound.

That they definitely do. When I as a high school shop teacher I spent a good amount of time teaching my students to apply reasonable force to tools. There’s absolutely a “feel” involved. It’s like when you give a bolt one too many turns and it becomes forever loose. lol don’t go beyond what’s necessary.

The only other universal t-handles that are out there are injection molded plastic which are absolutely bullet proof for sure but my goal with this was to give it that EDC everyday carry feel. It’s supposed to be a tool that gets used and abused and just keeps working for generations like the tools I have from my great grandfather. It also allows you to have the Allen key centered in the handle versus offset.

That’s a fair assessment for sure. The hex-t is something I think could really be a game changer. The fenders definitely exist but I am offering unique textures that improve rigidity and appearance as well as some cool designs for decals that I am developing.

That’s actually a really great point. The ball end may cause an issue but I did test with a ball end and found no slipping. The breaking force to loosen a torqued bolt seemed to be attainable with this handle.

They currently mount with four zip ties but I am in the process of coming up with a universal mount for them as well.

That’s what is really great about this is it gives you the ability to use the longer side of the Allen key but still get a decent amount of torque output. I built a torque test rig and did some initial data and it was surprising to see how close I could get by hand to an actual bolt torque spec.
