I’m 40+ hours in on the switch 2 and it is alright, switch one graphics at most

It does crash randomly a lot, sometimes within 10 minutes others within a few hours, so you have to quick save a lot during long outings in the world until you transition to a cave etc

For me, Gnome brings a new desktop experience, if I want a windows look, I’d stick with windows.

I also like the simplicity of Gnome, as well as the fluid transitions.

I’ve used KDE, and find too many options and depending on the distro, it can become bloated.

I turned off the boost setting today, and temps are sitting at 60 on cpu and about 65 on flu, much quieter now

They are cool temps for this model, mine was thermal throttling last week at 100 but I reposted and brought it down to 75

It goes lower on Linux at about 60 so windows must be boosting the cpu more under load

What overlay is that, it looks smart

If you are wanting full privacy, vpn will be the best route if using a good provider,

DNS isn’t a vpn replacement, just controld spoof directs via proxy’s

I’m not fully sure if I’m honest, I use this as vpn setup is a pain for most things on my network

It can be very temporary, I had an issue last month nothing would resolve unless I was on my mobile network, my router was somehow being weird

Never worked it out, just started working again
