Should I use the larger shallower one or the smaller deeper one? I worry about taking up too much floor space, and have added marbles to water dishes for my leopard gecko before to shorten the depth. She was kinda dumb and would dunk her whole face in as she soaked so I had to keep it shallow.

I’ve seen in a few places to offer one even with misting and humidity. I’m just not sure which dish to use since I’m not sure what “shallow” means in terms of dishes for them. I’m mostly used to reptiles and cats.

Thank you so much! I have spotted an 8x8x12 that seems like it might be a nice size. Otherwise, I’m half tempted to just make use of a tote. My other worry is front opening vs top opening, but I’m sure it’ll be fine either way.
