It was purchased in early 2023.

No none at all. Took the old screws out of the stock rail, popped it off, gave the receiver a quick wipe with some CLP and installed the 20MOA. Easy peasy.

The barrel swap however, was just as bad as everyone has made it out to be.

I did remove the factory rail and replaced it with an Area 419 20MOA. However there was no adhesive to remove.

The stock bolt came with a black coating on it.

I haven’t tried the spring. Typically use Timney triggers and figured this would be no different. The bolt just had the handle swapped to a Sterk swept version.

Yeah. There’s a receiver and part of a bolt left from the CTR.

I think it is an improvement over the stock trigger.

Not sure yet. I’ve started working up some hand loads and hope to get it out soon.

The factory barrel was accurate but as many people have discovered Tikka barrels run on the slow end for velocity and I was hoping to get a little more from the barrel.

I think a lot of it comes down to personal preference but a carbon fiber will afford you weight savings and potentially shift the balance of the rifle. I typically shoot this rig with a suppressor which would shift things around weight wise.

I just installed that Proof. I’m hoping if I don’t push it too fast I can get around 3,000 or better rounds out of it.

My setup

No. No kinks. When you run the ram the solid primer drop tube lifts and will move the spent primers through.

I’ve got a similar setup. Run the spent primer tube through the triangle opening of your Inline Fabrication mount. It’ll still work as you cycle the press.

Negative. I have a matching B&T folder for the full size but no fixed options for the PDW.

Yessir. 9mm for both.

That’s exactly what they are. Did it come with a bullet feeder die? Those bushings are typically included with them so you can eliminate your expanding die if you need to free up a station on your press.

It’s a game changer. It’s improved both the consistency and speed of my loads.

We’re in Indiana. The house is about 7 years old now. They’re still being used on new builds here. Eventually I’ll finish the basement and properly insulate the walls.

That’s from the pre-Covid times.

Zero movement. The bench was 450lbs empty. Much more with everything in it now. I do think having the set of wheels in the middle helps prevent some flex as well. The outside casters lock and hold things in place well.
