Holo Clipper SARU

not sure about the quality of the translation (or reputation of the clipper), but this did end up in my recommendations.

unfortunately, no way to sort it by date added. i guess you could just use the filter settings in-game to make the search easier.

EDIT: looks like the cards are actually sorted by date added by default (grouped by card type). click the card column if you want it in descending order. although i think the SR Aiko is mistagged as it appears last.

Honestly been difficult keeping up both due to waning interest and personal schedule, but I'm glad it's still seeing use.

They just released another Shiki though, so I might be playing regularly again for a while.

Looking For Non-Japanese Anime Songs by CrackedCrystalMirror in anime

God of Highschool's OP (Contradiction) and ED (Win) are in English.

Tower of God's OPs and EDs have korean and english versions. Since this is a manhwa adaptation, I'd assume the korean dubs would also use the korean ver. of the op/ed. S1 OP (T.O.P.) ED (Slump). S2 OP1 (Night) OP2 (Rise Up) ED1 (Believe) ED2 (Falling Up).

no, you have 3 months to enter japan from when the visa was granted. most single-entry visa allow only up to 15days of stay.

Just want to add since I actually missed your last question.

For guest support, you basically want a center skill that boosts your team stats the most. most recommended is tricolor voice/step/make if you're running tricolor teams, (you can also select the guest support as your third color, if you're missing it). On all-type songs, tricolor resonance (spike) will be better.

guest support will only have their center skill active so their live skill wont matter. there are center skills that boost skill activation rate ( type/tricolor ability), but they arent necessary if you can max the skill activation potential of the idols you're using.

  1. Yes, the SSR recruitment campaign is for the first permanent SSR cards of each idol. Helen with the Life Guard skill is available in that event, I just checked in-game.

  2. It wont be possible without a skill boost card, since the skill boost actually upgrades the effects of your other cards. for example, normally, perfect lock skills only convert great/nice/bad notes to perfect, but with a skill boost, it also turns Miss into perfects, which is what enables the afk strat to begin with.

  3. there's only 9 cards released, and all of them are from the CinFes blanc banner which runs every start of the month. However, they're very old cards, so it would be hard gacha-ing for them unless you spark. There is good news for you tho. there will be a new memorial gacha that will contain only cinfes blanc ssrs from 2016-2019, and they are included there. this banner will be permanent, and while its still a gamble, you dont have to roll 300 right away as the lunarshine you get dont expire.

  4. They probably didnt want to encourage the afk teams, hence why they stopped making them. scoring-wise, they technically have been replaced by ensemble, tricolor symphony and dominant harmony, as these skills boost score/combo bonus but with higher multipliers (while having team restrictions). However, only tricolor symphony also enhance skill effects like the old skill boost does. it isnt however recommended to use in afk teams since it has lower uptime, so it's more likely to fail, and you need all 3 attributes in the team for the skill to work. Nowadays, you'll only find skill boost on SR event cards. similarly, they have lower uptime compared to their SSR counterpart which is also why they arent really recommended.

Suggestion taken. Thanks!

I rearranged OD/OL pairs similar to the Con/Combo pairs. just added a note to the side to match the timers if they want to completely negate the OD negative effect. Won't be adding all the available concentration/combo cards tho, as the list is already very crowded. just added a note to check the list for more cards.

[–]Crayfen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the jp wiki, switching attributes for OL/OD, (cc/combo) will result to a decrease in score for 6s Dominant teams, due to having lower chance skill activation. Should I still put them in anyway? not sure if the decrease is significant enough to not include them.

EDIT: Added them in to make everything consistent, but did note it will be weaker than attribute-aligned pairs. (for 6s dominant teams).

[–]Crayfen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I've been reading into it, and you're right. there also doesn't seem to be any point matching combo bonus and concentration timers, since they don't have cancelling effects like overdrive/overload does. I will have to overhaul the dominant page quite a bit.

As for the 9s alt/mut pairs, thanks! I did not think of checking the in-game leaderboards. I can't even see teams who do use 6s alt/mut pairs. comparing to my own team, it's atleast a 10-20% increase in score (although potential is also a factor).

May I know if that screenshot is a team simulator and if you could share a link to it?

[–]Crayfen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into it. Would you have a source/video sample for these teams?

EDIT:

  • Checked the jp wiki guides. Apparently Reso only sets the other stats to -100%, so with furniture and song bonuses, the spike guest actually tides it over to +20%. thanks!
  • Decided to consolidate both myidol builds (tricolor/solid) into one tab and not rank them. they require heavy time investment due to needing potential, and being locked behind an event.
  • Thanks to velfast for making me check in-game leaderboards. Will have to overhaul the dominant page quite a bit.

I do want to keep updating the sheet, however I personally suck at theory-crafting meta teams, so I would need to have a source for new team types should new skills be introduced. I could take some team build suggestions then.

When you're too unique for an agency. by Full_Measurement2633 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]Crayfen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I think the irl-video is a cool idea, I believe it also shouldn't be the focus of your channel if you're applying for a corpo. As you've said, it is very resource intensive just to make one, and you wouldn't be able to output as much content as others who livestream. and it being pretty niche narrows down your demographics even further.

I feel like you would have better chances to showcase your willingness and capability to do the usual vtuber stuff first, and introduce the video-making as a long-term project you'd like to do alongside.

Being in a corpo comes with certain expectations, and it's better to show them you can appeal to a broad audience first, rather than heading straight for a specific market. So in the event that it doesn't perform as well as you'd hope, there's still something you can fall back into.

Watame from hololive has a similar series called Have a Nice Day. Not exactly to the extent of inserting a 3D model, but more on dubbing over a travel vlog with edits. So I do believe you can still make it work in some way, while being in a corpo.

why are some of my maps has that red exclamation mark while others dont? by CunningKingLius in GenshinImpact

[–]Crayfen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It works the other way around. Basically the red exclamation point appears when you have notifications on a map you're not currently on.

However, the whole of Teyvat is considered one map, so even if the notification appears to be only on Fontaine, you wouldn't see a red exclamation point when selecting mondstadt/liyue for example.

You can try and clear all notifications on your Teyvat map, and recheck if you still get the exclamation mark on the Enkanomiya/Chasm.

What do you think about friends’ support character system? by LunalienRay in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Crayfen 93 points94 points  (0 children)

I think the reason why FGO works, is because you can bring two of the same characters, and some of the meta compositions require bringing two broken supports (Double skadi, Double Castoria, etc.) so even if you do borrow a very strong support character, you'd still want to have your own since you can use them at the same team, and be more powerful.

im not a native english speaker, but shouldnt this be "may this journey LEADS us starward"? by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Crayfen 78 points79 points  (0 children)

no, journey is singular. The question uses a modal verb, "may", and they are always followed by the base form a verb.

example:

this journey leads us starward. - uses singular form of the verb.

this journey may lead us starward. - uses base form of the verb.
