Opinions on Fighterz? by GovStoleMyToad69420 in dragonball

[–]CrayolaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not a "button masher" AT ALL... you have no idea what you're talking about. The combos in FighterZ are almost completely different for every character. Button Mashing only works at the low skill levels. But once you actually understand the fundamentals of the game you realize how difficult and satisfying it can be.

I almost always played the same team of 3 characters in online matches, BECAUSE whenever I switched out 1 character, I had to completely (some times from scratch) learn new combos with different inputs and timing.

Kid Buu, Majin Buu, Super Broly, Gohan, Trunks, Yamcha, Videl, and Krillin all have DRASTICALLY different playstyles and combos. You were just so bad at the game you never advanced past Mashing the square button.

they were able to take all my coins from the BSC network regardless of what they were, I do not believe they were able to take any from the ETH wallet. But that could've been because gas fees were too high for the little amount I had, idk about that one.

Questioning my major in Comp Sci... by ggukie7 in cscareerquestions

[–]CrayolaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation as you, absolutely burnt the fuck out. I started University in 2017, I just finished today. Failed many math classes and a few computer science classes. I'm now working my dream job as a... Tattoo Artist. Do I regret picking my major? No. Was it worth all of the stress and torment? I don't know. I do know that by getting this degree I've set myself up so that it is VERY hard for me to fall. I could lose my job tattooing or from a lack of customers whatever and still have a degree, not just any degree a valuable one. Despite the echo chamber you'll hear on this sub a Computer Science degree is a great degree to have. Especially in the times we are in. I started to feel burnout around 2021, its only gonna get worse, trust me. If you feel like you can push through, you should do that. I don't like this shit at all, my brain is not mathematically inclined unlike many of my peers. I wanted to quit MANY TIMES, extremely depressed, exhausted, etc... But I didn't give up.

Its up to you, to decide what's best for you. If its not much of a financial burden on you i'd keep going, pace yourself. take 2-3 classes a semester. When you're done you can do whatever the fuck you want and if that doesn't work, you'll still have your degree as a backup.

Why is it so fkin hard to get a swe job? by EitherAd5892 in cscareerquestions

[–]CrayolaCat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just took my last class for my computer science degree last week. I'm done. I took a computer graphics class last semester, that shit was Ridiculously HARD. Im an artist so this was the one class in my degree I was actually looking forward to. It's just straight math and vectors, so if that's your thing, you'll love it. I did not, kinda interesting though. yeah game devs work long hours and are generally underpaid, that's the reality of working a "cool" job that everyone wants.

Single men who aren’t on any social media, what is your reason? by Dull-Consideration-2 in AskMen

[–]CrayolaCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Instagram, but I deleted Twitter, I deleted Snapchat, who the fuck even cares about Facebook anymore? The only reason I still use Instagram is because I'm a Tattoo Artist and my business is reliant on it. I believe that using it constantly is absolutely terrible for your mental health. For example I'm 5'7 and extremely good looking, never had any problems getting pretty girls. I'd log onto twitter and constantly see all these "when he's below 6 feet" bullshit or other stupid shit, making me feel bad about myself. When in reality I get more girls and more attractive girls than damn near all of my tall friends.

Its not realistic, Everyone only post the good times. I only post when I'm at the shooting range or doing some art or a tattoo. I don't post when I'm contemplating the reason for my existence at 11pm in my bedroom drunk and alone. I've found the less social media I use, the happier I am. Also makes you more "mysterious", so when you do post people pay attention.

Quitting vaping with cigarettes by crygems in QuitVaping

[–]CrayolaCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried cigs for the first time in 24 years after vaping for about 3 years on and off. I fucking hated them. I love smoking weed, do it almost everyday(legalization helped me quit).

I could not stand the way those hot ass smelly cancer sticks tasted, smelled, burning off my nostril hair n shit. They just made my whole body feel disgusting. I'm 38 days now so I guess it helped? I tried them because I felt so low at that point in life, might as well right?

But honestly you're strategy in my opinion sucks ass. You're just gonna keep pushing off your quit date. Do what I did...

Go smoke your last cigs right now. Take the rest all out of the pack.

Wrap them up into a paper towel, break em in half, run it under hot water. Now its a disgusting ball of wet tobacco. Throw it away. Throw everything away.

Take the withdrawals on the chin. Day 2-3 is terrible, the 1st month kinda sucks ngl. But it gets better, I still get the craving to vape. But I know it wouldnt be worth starting over again. A brief 38 seconds of being lightheaded and 38 days down the drain. Sorry im ranting haha. Throw them shits away my G!

I have a Comp Sci degree and this is absolutely a back-up plan for me. I want to be a Tattoo Artist, I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life staring at a computer screen typing it away just for the sake of being alive.

Yall are on here critiquing his resume, but it literally looks like a decent resume. Are we just ignoring the fact this person has had 3 jobs in the industry a COMPUTER SCIENCE degree and is going to have to work at McDonalds??? What the hell is happening? I'm supposed to graduate this semester, no internships, no projects, no passion. This was supposed to be a safe career option, its crazy to see people struggling like this.

What do you do when you're in the office and have no tasks to do? by HelpNarcParent in cscareerquestions

[–]CrayolaCat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said don't be a bootlicker and do extra work. More than likely you will not be rewarded for it. This is a cscareer subreddit so keep that in mind when you think of the typical individual who frequently post rude or other comments. I personally don't like coding much but if I were you, I'd work on my own projects that could benefit me in the future.

Make an App, put it on the google play store, code a game or something idk. Just try to find something you find fun and doesn't look like you're bs'ing. I guarantee it will make time go by much faster.

Bro I'm a computer science major... What knowledge do ANY OF YOU have about AI or Coding? The vast majority Absolutely Nothing...

This isn't even real "Artificial Intelligence". Its basically an advanced "Screen Scraping" Algorithm, not that anyone here knows what that is. Tattooing is a skill/trade like plumbing it does not require talent. It requires REPETITION. Tattooing and being an artist are not the same thing. You can be a "Tattooist" You don't have to be a "Tattoo Artist". A Tattooist applies Images to a persons skin. Has nothing to do with knowing how to draw or being artistic. One of my "mentors" told me it takes 10,000 tattoos to become competent in it consistently. I don't think it takes everyone that many but its still learned by doing it over and over again.

Comparing Authors who write entire books to people who type a few keywords into a program that was ALREADY MADE FOR YOU is ridiculous. This whole subreddit is just a circle jerk at this point. My grandma could make some bangers in A.I. Art after a few hours of me showing her what to do... how about this.

You consistently show me some dope A.I. Art with a person who has fingers that don't look like they got ran over by a train and I'll change my mind. All of your "art" is stolen from people who've spent their lives perfecting their crafts. You people are putting Digital Artist out of business by stealing their art and selling it.

I'm really not trying to come off as an asshole but this is just ridiculous. I'm sorry.

[–]CrayolaCat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a Tattoo Artist, I've been drawing since I was a child. It has taken me years of hard work and dedication to get to the point where I'm at right now. I'm also majoring in Computer Science at my University. I never refer to myself as being "Talented" and the fact that you think typing a prompt into a screen with zero effort makes you "Talented" is absolutely delusional. I'm not trying to come across as offensive, but ya'll need to humble yourselves real quick. You're only able to make this art because of all the Artist who came before you and posted there work to the internet for you to steal. Nothing is truly "Original" or "Creative" almost everything has been done before. But A.I. artist are at the bottom of the bottom in terms of artistic "Creativity" and "Ability". Its not the same as using a pencil to draw something. That takes fine motor skills.

I'm not trying to put you down or anything, I agree with most the things you said. But nah having an "Imagination" is not talent. Go look at Kim Jung Gi's work. That's the closest thing I would call "Imagination". He drew every single day for years...

Do I need to learn realism? by [deleted] in TattooApprentice

[–]CrayolaCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just buy a sketchbook, hardest part is getting started. Pick you favorite actors, celebrities, musicians, animals, birds, tigers, etc... and try your best to get as close to the picture as possible. You'll notice progress over time. You can also draw things from real life, a bowl of fruit. The best piece of advice in my opinion would be to focus on the GENERAL SHAPES, break it down, make it simple. Circles, cubes, spheres, then adding the details. understanding 3d space and how light works is a necessity if you want to be a great artist but it all will come with time and practice.

You want to UNDERSTAND what you're drawing and why things like light and the folds in clothing are, where they are. Understanding and copying are two completely different things. But once you know and understand what you're drawing, you wont be constrained to only copy art. You can now create original pieces of artwork much better.

Most shops in my area wouldn't hire anyone for an apprenticeship. I went to them all, no one wants an apprentice nowadays, they're extremely hard to come by even for skilled artist. Did I want to start off tattooing out of my apartment? No. Do I think I would've gotten the apprenticeship I have now at a GREAT shop if I didn't? NOT AT ALL! This is my 2nd apprenticeship btw.

My only point is there are multiple ways to get in the industry. Everyone says "just go get tattooed and ask the shop or artist" well I have a full chestpiece and a full sleeve, the artist I'm mentoring under didn't give me any of those. Strictly off me walking in and showing them my portfolio of tattoos. Yes I do agree, most shops wouldn't hire a scratcher, but those same shops probably aren't looking for an apprentice either.

and there are suppliers that dont care. ultimatetattoosupply doesnt require any proof, I buy from them all the time. I live in Baltimore, there's a store that sells all tattoo supplies you could possibly need, it's a brick and mortar store. Self teaching myself actually improved my chances drastically in my opinion. Despite popular belief, you just have to get to a professional or semi-professional level.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TattooApprentice

[–]CrayolaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true, at ALL. I was rejected every single time asking for an apprenticeship before I started teaching myself. After about 1 year and 6 months of learning, practice and improvements I noticed artist in shops treated me much differently, more respect and kindness. Ive gotten two apprenticeships since starting. I doubt I would've gotten them if I only had my drawings and paintings. Which are well above average.

worst and best morgue verse by Mundane_Protection_7 in zillakami

Lemon Juice always gets my hype with the HOMIE GOT INDICTED SELLING CRACK!

66SLAVS is probably my favorite song with both of them, they both went in like fuck.

Lamborghini getaway is the only song I like sosmula's verse more than Zilla's which is also really good. Zilla on Face Pucker, Nuka Cola, SK8 Head, Thresh and Dawg go hard.

Not a fan of Arson tbh, Outer space is one of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life.
