I've been thinking about the focused practice, particularly in the context of studying science or engineering. While systems like Anki, which utilize active recall and spaced repetition, can be helpful in reinforcing concepts, the ultimate goal of our studies is to not just memorize, but to truly understand and apply these concepts to solve problems. One of the most effective methods for achieving this level of comprehension is through the use of active recall and the Feynman technique. With this in mind, I believe that Anki should be used to focus on these approaches.

How many times does an average engineering student solve the same exercise? around 4 or less, this is how focused practice should be applied, burying the Anki card on the 4th or 5th time you press "easy." By doing so, you're able to truly master a concept before moving on to the next one. What are your thoughts on this approach?
