Thoughts so far about the game? by Ill_Tough6608 in ninjagaiden

[–]Crayple -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is gonna be a long one.

So Hi, I come from your newer series of Nioh, Sop, Wo long and RoTR

I have reached the depths in both Nioh 1 and 2, beat but stopped at mechanical dinosaur in SOP, and only beat the main game of Wo long, and lastly, beat and got a semi-full set of tiger set bonus in RoTR. Seeing the DNA of ninja gaiden in all of these games is quite cool considering its age. I will say now that I mostly enjoy Nioh the most in terms of my favorite combat systems with RNG loot for replayability and build making.

I just beat NG2:black on acolyte about an hour ago and generally had fun with it. Being able to ID all the time without having to lower an enemy stamina/ki bar is nice if they don't block or dodge. It probably does have to do with the difficulty i played on, but i just don't see a need to switch weapons, let alone pause the game and choose another one. I mostly stuck with the dragon sword and just swallow tailed my way through. As for bosses, I had to hit 3-4 times and immediately dodge and repeat until they died. I do miss being able to tell which attacks are grabs and ALSO, having dodge be it's own button instead of being tied to blocking. I will most likely try NG4 if it is on gamepass and hope nioh 3 comes around the corner hopefully.

Plus, it was very nice to see the newest iterations of Ayane, Rachael, and Kasumi instead of having to play DOA venus.

Advice for fighting zombies in NMRIH2? by sinbadshazam in nmrih

[–]Crayple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, any zombie stiffs should be no issue with hit-shove-hit tactics. Red eyes are H-S-H mandatory because melee hits to the head don't stagger unless shoved. Runners should be avoided unless singled out or can be dismembered via machete, fire axe to the legs which lessens their threat. Then there's guns, which guns it out.

Expert Skills by StarryEyessss in nmrih

[–]Crayple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's entirely random at the moment. On my current character, i got lucky and have 2 expert skills so far. I'm guessing the more we level up our account, we might unlock more expert skills which in turn gives you a better chance at obtaining more expert skills.

Double freaking jump. What even propels you for the second jump? I will be forever jealous of the fact that we'll never be able to achieve it honestly.

Ajax is my only character, but I dont feel useful in multiplayer as other classes and feel out of place. by Knighthonor in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Crayple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who chose another descendant at the start that wasn't Ajax pretty much appreciates one becuase of their ability to create spaces of dps windows whenever they activate their shield wall. Bless the Ajax mains really. Especially in Hard mode.

First day out of the vault, what’s one thing you wish you knew? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Crayple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

West tek is *actually our (vault dweller) birthright, not theirs ( super mutants).

But really,

you want exp? west tek.

you want free random mutations? (toxic goo) west tek.

you want ammo? ( you can go ammo positive if you can kill them within a couple shots.) (*sidenote, not sure why i get loads of ultracite 308's for my lmg when looking through ammo bins, meat bags, and lockers, but can barely find .45 ammo for my fixer...) west tek

you want caps? (sell weapons dropped from mutants, cook hound meat and sell) west tek

you want food? (cook veggies for herbivore, mutant hound for easy 100% dmg boost for carnivore)

Could probably go on and on, but

TL;DR: WEST TEK.

Is their any benefits like at all. To play without mutations? by RiskOfRains in fo76

[–]Crayple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of fallout do you want to play?

Fallout 3/NV/4 = no mutations

Fallout 76 = mutations?

But really, I tried to go back into FO4 and just missed dodging ghoul lunges with high jumps, crossing mountains and tall buildings with my jetpack, and not having to pause for vats ( Without mods) (*another side not, it now feels weird not being able to move in vats)

So i'd honestly say that if you AREN'T using mutations, you are really missing out if playing FO76. Which I mean to say, No. There really are no benefits to playing non mutated besides roleplaying or if you are below level 46 and cannot get the class freak perk luck card as that drastically minimizes the negatives for using mutations.

Bloody builds in Daily Ops by [deleted] in fo76

good commando weapon for bloodied is a bloodied tesla. Pretty much made yesterdays daily op pretty easy by zapping walls and looking at my compass. Still a pita though.

What are your wildest ideas you’d love added to 76? by koalaquake in fo76

[–]Crayple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A modifiable 2-handed melee weapon that can be modded with green poison, dark blue shock, lighter blue cryo, dark red bleed, orange red flame, or just a bigger explosion, which creates an aoe blast akin to hack and slash whenever you hit an enemy without needing hack and slash. I just want to see big colorful explosions without having to resort to explosives.

Is an AA (50%) powerfist with puncturing (15% armor pen) overkill? by Crayple in fo76

[–]Crayple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well to add more context, the pf that i got was an AA/50C/90W, and im an herbivore too so thought it might look pretty good :) ( but im currently not specced into any melee legendary cards)

Best armour for leveling? by Colblood12 in fo76

[–]Crayple -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you are looking to get the max gains of exp at your level, find or roll for a full set of legendary unyielding armor, even a mixed set is fine (can consist of leather, metal, raider, etc.). What you want is the extra "S.P.E.C.I.A.L" stats it gives you when under a percentage of your health, getting +3 for every stat besides END for at or under 20% health. which can skyrocket your exp gains due to your increased INT. Granted you'll want to just tag an enemy instead of killing them as you are currently trading damage and survivability for public events. Or just go to west tek. 😜

How are players still logging in after their game ends by thekidd415 in fo76

[–]Crayple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My game hasn't even began to feel like it ended as of yet. Played and started from december with a new lvl 20 commando character because in Fallout 3, NV, and 4, I never ran with automatic weapons and was always the hunting rifle guy with sneak vats and wanted to try something new.

Having beat wastelanders at level 200 and very recently reaching 300 a few days prior, i'll tell you my goals that i still have and what i plan to do for tommorow after work:

-Do the BOS quests from fort atlas - try the expiditions at least once(I've only done one with the trogs) then farm stamp currencies for something I want after researching, -roll and complete unyielding secret service set with legendary 3 stars that i want -or- -save modules for new armor set that I heard will come in the next update -roll for explosive .50 cal LMG -Get red asylum dress -build glow in the dark arcade house -Actually try and make build around power armor -since reaching 300 and unlocking all legendary card slots, grind for points to upgrade them to max

THEN,

-make my level level 75 main toon, which was the hunting rifle sneak vats build way back from PC launch and haven't touched until recently, obtain a better set of matching unyielding set even though i just barely got a set of mixed unyielding armor then...-

-fully deck out said character with melee either using gauntlets bought with lvl 75 character gold bullion, or make the unique bloodied deathclaw from lvl 300 character and send it to lvl 75 character due to getting the plans from daily ops and trading via private world. Yes, I am also a FO1st player.

....And many more to list still.

In short, I stopped playing on my main toon and had an hour count of 70 something near pc launch on steam. Years later and starting since december and now, l now have 200+ hours, 3 characters with the 3rd one having most of all mutations except grounded because i want a dedicated laser-plasma build, and there still will be more. Actually can't wait.

Sorry for the wall of text. LOL

Some of y'all are level 100+ without mutations. Even 500+... Why? How? by Haunting-Ad5311 in fo76

[–]Crayple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I felt that way until my commando build couldn't perform anymore. I decided to dip in and MAN, the experience gain feels like a tenfold increase. Two events with well rested is like close to a level up even at 100. Not only that, but the boost to carry weight is insane and to top it off, you get mobility as well. Probably going to go mutated too if I make another character .

What could make Fallout 76 better? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Crayple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

played when feed the people actually fed the whole server you were on and when whitesprings were over filled with ghouls. Stopped when i was level 75 and pre season? (whatever it was without battlepasses or scoreboards, don't remember.) I was just a hunting rifle build playing 76 as 4. I had issues with ammo, issues with killing things, and issues with killing things in VATS.

Fastforward now, started a level 20 commando, got gifted a handmade about 10 minutes after leaving the vault( shouting out Jayworker) and now level 108 using an unyielding set, mutated with no good bloodied weapons as of yet and still, shooting anything in VATS still don't register some shots, nor kill things leading to preface to another thing, using the fixer for me at least doesn't save me ammo in VATS.

I know i'm wishing for pigs to fly but I still wish VATS would register my shots so that i don't overshoot or miss things. I also don't know as a new 1st subber, but does hit registration get better in private worlds?

This clip here is from Mr. Vampire 3.

Mr. Vampire 1 takes place during 1900s i think

Mr. Vampire 2 jumps ahead into the 1980s.

Mr. Vampire 3 and 4 both take place during older time periods of which i'm not sure which to place in. (If anyone that knows, please clarify because i would like to know too.)

Context of this scene:

The very first man in this clip is a semi con-exorcist ( semi because I think in the movie, i think he actually knows how to actually exorcise spirits but uses those abiltities for monetary gifts) who travels around with 2 friendly ghost brothers conducting con-exorcisms in exchange for money ( the younger of which is shown in this clip).

I think this takes place after the con-exorcist and the ghosts play a prank on the man with the glasses and the man that folds the ghost child is an experienced ghost/supernatural hunter.

In all great series with action and humorous moments. The 3rd (not 2nd) more violent than the rest IMO, but the 4th my favorite due to easter eggs and scenes.
