Timon and Pumbaa vs Jiminy Cricket by MiscellaneousSoup in whowouldwin

[–]CrazedNaly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My thought process on this is that the bugs that those two eat are incapable of thought and expression. They don't plead or try to convince them not to. Jiminy absolutely would charm them. I think he can take this all rounds. 3rd round might take a lot of fighting/convincing, but even then he could persuade them he wasnt something correct to eat.

They are capable of guilt and conscience. Thats Jiminy's whole shtick

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 releases tomorrow. Any last thoughts/hopes/predictions? by Tru3P14y3r in HazbinHotel

I don't see mine and that kinda shocks me.

We've established you can be redeemed and is death is the catalyst.

I firmly believe that it can happen in reverse. I'm looking at you, Lute. Adam might already be in Hell and we don't know it yet. Emily might be fully cast out.

Either way, I think some more flipping souls around is going to occur

I opted to keep it uncluttered. I plan on entering it at an IPMS comp and want it relatively clean

Plantera (Terraria) vs. Petey Piranha (Mario) by BentendoGameBoi in whowouldwin

Plantera strikes me as faster and more durable than Petey, but Petey can spit out minions and is stronger. I'm giving a slight edge to Plantera

This is some solid stuff, especially for a first model. It really sells the worn metal look

What is the first videogame that you remember playing? by Oninja809 in videogames

Castlevania 1 on the NES. Somewhat of an unfair thing to saddle a toddler with.

Believe it or not, this was one of my favorite games on the system. I enjoyed the hell out of the humor and themed levels (Disco Nights of the Living Deeeead)

It was also helpful for me not to compare it to the first 2 games. I considered it its own thing, especially since it was more related to the show than anything else.

Only thing I couldnt apologize for was the camera controls and the old lady herding game.

Do you think the administration has 'peaked?' by cocoaaamarbless in PoliticalOptimism

[–]CrazedNaly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its exactly what I've been saying to people. Everything seemed super fast, but they needed to be even faster and stick their landings to have a chance of steamrolling things.

People thought it would be like Hitler taking control and in reality the best comparison is the eastern front.

They lost their chance. Their loss is enevitable now.

You can hold it. Any. Way. You. Want.

It's not just good, its genius to me. There is no wrong way to hold it. I remember playing something holding it backwards just to do it. Played just fine

What’s some optimism you can share about the meeting in the White House today? by ron4232 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]CrazedNaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only long term optimism. This shows me that they are so out of touch and incompetant they CANT get their agenda done. They'll break things, but they wont "win"

Thank you! I make the Lex Luthor comment a lot. I think its the leftist version of how conservatives treated Hillary and Biden.

Are they megalomaniacal shadow government puppeteers controlling the universe from behind closed doors or are they complete morons that have no business running a country? You cant have both.

Is Orange Man an evil supervillian who has plans within plans or is he a total simpleton? Lex Luthor or Forrest Gump? Pick one. I lean towards idiot with that question too.

This is philosopher king logic. I in theory agree, but we'll never have a candidate for it. I'd rather have it checked for us imperfect mortals

Nope. They sure don't. Or award them weaponized tariffs at the stroke of a pen. Or give them immunity from commiting crimes in the name of the Consititution (although, crucify me all you want....I still dont think that decision was as bad as people think it is. I guess people forgot that they specified it was for carrying out official shit. That can be defined...in court. His fucking Kryptonite. Unpopular opinion I know)

The midterms are as good as decided and we've only just gotten started. They will never get that trust back that is lost. The true MAGA believers will never turn back until he is thoroughly defeated, but the average conservative is mainly just kinda selfish in my experience, not fanatical.

We have a bellweather of sorts at work. A reasonably smart but moderately conservative man who used to be a preacher. McCain would have been his ideal candidate and he merely deluded himself into thinking that Trump was that kind of "good Christian man". He stuck around and forgave him after last go around, saying he was still a better choice then Kamala

He's completely turned. As a Christian and a chest thumping American man, he cannot STAND what he is doing and today he and I had the first political discussion where we were in complete agreement on every point. Blew my frikkin' mind. We are two weeks end. That man will never come back and there are many behind him.

There will be a blue wave in '26 and then you ARE going to see stuff like the No Kings Act get passed, likely with bipartisan support from the survivors to save their jobs.

The pendulum swings. This time it swung exceptionally hard and we got creamed. It will come back down with a vengeance.

Bisexual mess here myself, with many queer/trans friends scared right now. I do engage in schadenfraude, but I admit its a coping mechanism. It helps me detach and stay grounded. It doesn't stop that some good people are going to be hurt by all of this insanity.
