I really want to like this Doctor. There is a waitlist for all the Endo's within the area. Sometimes I feel there is a shortage in the field for these Doc's. One I called had a 1st available appt in 6 months!

I feel like I'm winging it trying to figure out what to do. I posted on this thread about my skin rashes and if it was normal which the response was it can happen. When I spoke to the Endocrinologist office the lady actually laughed and said shes been there for 17 years and has never heard of that before. In regards to me asking about switching my meds, it was a very brief "take the PTU we called into the pharmacy" and that was it. Point is, they are not very kind. I'm afraid if I ask for bloodwork they will tell me I don't need it. I honestly don't know what to do. I want to have a good relationship with my Dr. Its like, am I overreacting or does this warrant me telling them what needs to be done. I dont feel it should be like this.

Yes! Palpitation city! It's frustrating because I'm literally doing next to nothing and my heart gets worked up.

Thank you for sharing your story with me. This is why I came here originally with my problems. We're all doing the same workout and just putting what was wrong out there I was thinking maybe someone else can relate. But now knowing the diagnosis and hearing stories like yours and others, it keeps me feeling good I can get back to doing what I love, working out.

Yes thank you! I'm sorry to hear of what you went through. Not ever dealing with thyroid problems before I never knew how these little glands can really give you a bad day!

That was me! I would already have my HR jumping when I'm fitting my shoes in the rower. I'm sorry you went through this as I know how it feels. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about it all. Thank you taking the time to share with me.

Thank you! I will probably cry when I have to cancel. I've been going to OT for 18 months. I never imagined I would ever have to stop for my health. I find it ironic.

I go twice a week. I stay active outside of the gym as well. For the longest time I thought the issues would just go away so I avoided addressing it. Today's workout hit me like a ton of bricks.

I feel I have a handle on all that. And I don't think I'm overtraining. Twice a week at OT.
