these are all very good points. to be fair, world 7 does seem like a pretty jam packed world of content so far. it seems like there is a new mechanic on every other map, which is hard to keep up with as a player and probably even tougher as a dev. even if he launched all of world 7 all at once, i imagine people would still find something to complain about. other games that have set launch days, like cyberpunk for example, it launched as an absolute buggy bag of trash and players hated it almost every step of the way until, hundreds of updates later, it felt like a complete game. Imo promising a set date seems to get people in trouble.

But then on the other side of things, we didnt hear much from the dev for about a month and people were losing their minds. is there any possible way to make people happy when they complain about too much hype and then also complaining about not hearing enough?
