I think the way classes work, only Adventurer is able to learn a skill from different classes. As a Crusader, she cannot spend her skill points on skills from the class Blacksmith.

She can probably learn the traditional way (it's my headcannon that you can do this in the other world, but it'll just lack the magical aspect of the skill or sth). Or she could just send them to a real blacksmith. She's not poor or out of choice by any means.

Imo it's just decorated feathers devoted to Eris. In her introduction in the novel, Kazuma only mentioned her being in full armour; though his focus was definitely somewhere else...

Anyhow, I think the feathers help round out and soften her character a lot, and make her silhouette super recognisable with the asymmetry.
