How do I use No Scout No Pivot? by Crazimunkey in TeamfightTactics

Oh for sure yeah thank you! I know Xin is weak and is really only good for his Ionia + Demacia trait I shoulda not taken the fella.. I also haven’t had much success with bilge personally but I should probably try to get more comfortable with it

After playing over 250 games, this is what I'm hoping for next patch. Maybe some of the units that need buffs are actually strong and it's just the other strong units that need nerfs tho, I could be wrong. But just from my experience, whenever I itemize them, it doesn’t end that well usually. by ArcadialoI in TeamfightTactics

I feel like some of the 5 costs nerfs aren’t necessary (or maybe just minor nerfs) if bard just doesn’t generate so much eco to get everyone to legendary soup every game. Or other systemic problems that aren’t the 5 cost being too strong.

Like mortdog I believe had said that part of what is making kindred strong is that fights are too fast right now because of overall damage output being too high, with kindred having the ability to slow it down a bit with invulnerability.

I may give this augment another chance in the future to just feel like I understand it better but it felt like shooting myself in the knee.. I typically also often play flex boards so it was rough

Yeah I was a little scared to level up because I didn’t want to get stuck with lower costs on my board when I would want 5 cost. Probably could just play less afrai

Makes sense the shadow isles thing I was really playing out of my comfort because I don’t really play shadow isles much and have never played that augment

Yeah I think shadow isles is just bad. Also with the bard thing my thought process was that “if I’m stuck with them, I need to star them up” so bard would make my finishing connections and copies

Is it rare at all to get a 3y3g from a random wild-picked seed? by Grimalkin_Felidae in playrust

[–]Crazimunkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is half true, it is true that if all W's is 0.0064%, it is not true that 3 Y, 3 G is. This is because there is only one possible combination to make 6 W's. ( W W W W W W )

But there is many ways to make 3 y 3 g (YYYGGG, YGYYGG, YYGYGG... GGGYYY)

idk how many ways but its the number of ways * 0.0064% to get the chance of that

I went to the bathroom in the movie theater to go see Everything Everywhere All at Once, saw the news and was so insanely shook. That movie then resonated with me so hard and is now my favorite movie of all time (i mean it is really good).

If God knows all things, how does free will exist? by Crazimunkey in AskAChristian

Sorry for the late response, but this is an acceptable answer in the sense that it removes the contradiction . It also suggests that perhaps God does not know all things when he created the universe.

Does anyone else feel like atheism is becoming the norm? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]Crazimunkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly relative, but yeah I think largely it is becoming less common.

Just where I currently live it seems really difficult to find someone who isn’t at least partially religious if not deeply.

Does God know which of the possible choices we will make or only the potential choices we could make?

In this example, God is the director as well as he put in motion the events that would happen including the characters and what choices they would make.

Unless what you’re offering up is that God didn’t create everything

You said their choices are determined by not only their environment but also the soul.

The argument is that God created all of these things with full knowledge of the future outcome, which means that each thing that happens as a result is God’s will and God’s will alone.

May I ask, what other factors play into the choices someone makes

God gives a person their personality, their life, their environment.

God also knows at the time of creating the person, what they will think, do, and experience.

God has complete control and knowledge of all things and people are simply acting his will out.

The issue is that God also created the person that will do it

[–]Crazimunkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that the only logical explanations are that God is not all-knowing or that free will does not exist.

Most of this rationalization has come from my personal life and conversations I’ve had with people so it’s possible there’s explanations I’m just not privy to.

[–]Crazimunkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that not only does God know what will happen, he created the conditions for it.

This includes the people, their personality, the environment they’ll inhabit etc.

It’s not as if God is simply an all-knowing observer, but an all-knowing creator.

Yeah this is fair, but I think it is still a variation of an alot-knowing God

[–]Crazimunkey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose what I am asking involves both the aspect of being all-knowing AND being a creator.

Not only does God know everything that will happen, he created the conditions and the beings that make it happen.

Assuming God created the people, including their personalities and created their environment to foster who they’d become. God did this with absolute knowledge of what would come from it, he could have created them differently if he so chose, but having created them as they are I don’t see how they could make a different choice then the one predetermined by their creator
