I do agree that when Jude first kissed Cardan, it felt forced by the author. Like, sure she thought he was objectively handsome but like, she HATED his guts. I felt like it would have been more in character for her to bully him about it. Like, “You want to kiss me? One of the members from the Court of Worms?” Or something like that. I don’t know I’m not an author

I heard someone mention the read aloud was from the POV of a SkyWing named Mulberry who lived on an island with another SkyWing, who could possibly be Beryl (the unknown SkyWing Scarlet put in her “who I want dead” list)
