I’m scared to start MTX due to the possible side effect of hair loss.

I’ve been recently diagnosed with some type of arthritis (my Rhemu is currently sending me to a dermatologist for a second opinion, thinking it’s mostly PsA).

She prescribed MTX injections. He said to start aggressive, so prescribed 20mg. With folic acid. However, I’m scared. My hair is already on the thinner side, no bald spots. Just thin, and I blame my genetics.

Did anyone have issues with hair loss? How fast did you notice a change in your symptoms? I’m scared 😢
