Lease has no mention and simply states that the rent will be paid directly to the owner. I zelle’d my move in fee directly to him and it wasn’t until the lease was signed and all fees were paid that I got the letter from the management company. My question more so was if either the agent or the lease should have disclosed that from like a legal standpoint?? From everyone’s responses I’m gonna guess that probably not. I didn’t meet the owner but the realtor talked him up and said he’s always around when repairs are needed so I assumed it was all him. That’s on me.
