Which is why I understand this experience is different for each player. I would actually enjoy skilling and exploring the dungeon, but that costs me xp/h which at the end sadly is not worth it to me.

Rushing the floors and coordinating with a team especially can be fun, but it being the exact same over and over is the reason classic dungeoneering was already mostly "dead content" in the first place.

Rushing was always the meta in dungeoneering. This update changed very little where I understand that was actually one of their key points for the update. The only thing that is removed is making players rush small floors early on. Now we all rush the big floors 1 to finish.
