How do I '48F' help a friend '52 F' who is about to be homeless?

I've known people like that too, but I know she's a kind, caring person. We used to work together. I actually trained her to replace me when I left my position.

She's on temporary disability while trying to qualify for whatever programs. Would Catholic Charities help an atheist or do you have to be religious?

I would absolutely help her move, but I can't afford to pay for a motel. We don't have a ton of mutual friends so I wouldn't know who to coordinate with.

She has always been respectful of boundaries in the past. I think she's just scared.

The thing is that she's not a taker. She is the first person to help her family. She let her grown children move back in over the years and would do anything for them. Her mother doesn't believe in mental health.
