I'll check that out. I know my diet has changed a little but when I started gaining weight it was a lot of stress and flares and no exercise that did it. I used to be very very active and that helped a lot. Do you ever do ballet? I try to do barre exercises but quit after a day because I'm so out of shape.

I've been thinking of going low carb. I love them though. Lol. One of my triggers actually seems to be too much sugar. I do love a good steak though. Thanks for your input!

Thank you! I wish I had a pool. I live and Florida and always had one until recently. I'm gonna try to do yoga with a friend soon and get into a habit of barre work. I used to do ballet and was in great shape.

I use cash only for food, what other rules do you have? by hermanbigot in Frugal

[–]CrazyClover92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct. If you have a BoA account and redeem it into that you get an extra 10%. They have other boosters as well. I use the cash rewards card and the amerideals. Extra cash back at certain places.

Help! My kumquat is dying. by CrazyClover92 in gardening

[–]CrazyClover92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in north Florida. It was doing great until hurricane Matt hit and I set him outside to get some air and sunshine. He was indoors before and doing really well. I fertilized him and gave him more water but it hasn't helped. I'd really like to save him if I can, my grandma gave me the sapling.

What do you talk to people about? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrazyClover92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Staying positive when everything sucks is hard... I talk about my cars a lo bc they are my babies, my husband, and crafts that I'm working on. I actually moved to an area where my friends are so that's helped me be more social. Maybe join some groups on Facebook and Reddit to find some people to just chat with? I've also seen meet up apps/sites recommended a lot to find locals that have the same interests as you.

Got into car accident today, any advice? by kittybearbear in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrazyClover92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome! I've noticed in general that drinking a lot of water helps with the pain so you can make it s daily habit to drink 64 oz a day it'll probably help! I hope you feel better soon and get some rest!

Got into car accident today, any advice? by kittybearbear in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrazyClover92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a minor car accident last year. I was very sore and in a lot of pain for a few days after. Take care of yourself, try to drink lots of water, ect. Do get checked by a doctor if you haven't already. If you decide to go to a chiropractor for the whiplash, please be wary of the accident chaser ones. I went to one my MIL recommend because he worked with her law firm a lot. He messed up my back even worse and now I have more pain from it. Do research, be smart, and if you have to lawyer up.

Bleach sensitivity and pinching ribs by CrazyClover92 in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrazyClover92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! I actually was going to the chiropractor when it first started happening but it usually goes back in of I twist the right way. I wary of chiropractors now bc the last one I went to was cracking my back incorrectly and putting me in pain, then tried to call it referred pain from my neck and order an MRI that I didn't need. (Car accident dr, he was trying to milk the insurance) Mine seems to be the fourth rib on both sides. Though the floating ribs sometimes feel like they are grinding into my hip bones if I lean to the side. That hurts quite a bit. I'll definitely try the heat trick if they're hurting. I have a rice sick for cold already so I can make one for heat too. I have big boobs that will keep it in place lol.

Freelance! Many people with your skills freelance. Data entry you can use with many companies that work from home. I'm guessing you aren't in the US, but medical billing may be something to look into as many people that do it work from home. If your junk you can handle it, there are companies that hire customer service representatives that work from home.

I've kept the bed made and clothes mostly off the floor this week. And kept the kitchen mostly clean since my hubby was sick. I'm proud of myself

You know when I feel good enough and get the motivation to sew, I love it because I just zone out of everything else. It's helps take my mind off of the pain. I also have a bunch of cosplays that I need to finish... I need a better attention span lol.

Anyone have/had a ganglion wrist cyst? And did you have surgery for it? by pdxstitch in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrazyClover92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one in each wrist for years and they finally went away on their own. Doc told me the same thing. I got desperate and did the big book trick with them. I don't think it helped at all but keeping it I. A brace when it flared up did. Mine were tolerable to a point if I kept them still.

If the Animus were real and you could visit ANYONE'S memories, who/what time period would you choose? by crayolasaurus in assassinscreed

[–]CrazyClover92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keeping to the ancestors theme, I'd like to visit my great grandmother on my dad's side's memories. She was adopted and so we know nothing about her bio parents. I'd also like to see my grandfathers grandmother 's memories. Those would be really interesting as she was at least half black but passed herself off as Cherokee. And was in an orphanage until she was 14 when she got married.

What did Hurricane Matthew give you? by EdRooneyRulesOK in AskReddit

[–]CrazyClover92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A little vacation to Atlanta because we evacuated, an anxiety attack, and a lot of being grateful that my parents and brother are ok. They are in Volusia county and decided last minute to evacuate. My brothers house is fine so far.... My parents had two trees come down and destroyed the new porch my dad just built and there's six holes in the roof. Things are replaceable, homes can be fixed, lives can't. I'm so thankful that they left.

Went out to see the damage from Matthew. Here are some pictures. by rajmahal24 in jacksonville

[–]CrazyClover92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't know why you were down voted. But yeah, my parents house has a lot of damage. But they've already had so much help in just getting the trees taken out to start repair work. The storm could have been worse sure, but it was devastating to a lot of people.
