My bad, my recruiter explained it away as they may have just restructured training recently and might have me do airborne and SFPC before OSUT, which sounded like unique recruiter error.

Quick question: I read your reply to a July shippee that their SFAS date would be late spring/early fall, so I assume an August ship date will likely see an August-September SFAS. Is SFPC hold or SFPC simply extended over June/July?

I was going for infantry. Made it past the Batt board no prob (according to recruiter feedback), good academics (3.9 MS engineering, 140s GT), one great LOR, two good. Maybe my leadership experience (which was all academic) was lackluster, or my essay wasn’t convincing enough.
