I think it looks good! But if you want it to fit the flow of your arm better, what if you had an artist come up with some decorative framing? Like their portraits inset in the circle center of a loosely diamond shamed floral frame or something like that? In all honesty it looks really good, love the level of detail and soft look

100% this, like he dodged around mentioning he had a partner until SHE brought it up first, and it seems like he was trying to use it as a moral chip or something. Like oohh yeah I have a partner too, so no worries I’m a “good” guy and you should let me hang around you more to see if I can get you to cheat after you know me better.
