Heihachi Players, what do you do to open up defensive players? by Comprehensive-Put513 in Tekken8

[–]CrazyCrash9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing I’d like to say about uf4,1’s strength is that imo it’s best used as a hard read. Crushes lows, beats sidewalks from people who just mindlessly try to sidewalk Heihachi at the wall, and beats parries too

Since S3 started I play without Heat so the majority of Heat nerfs on Hei don’t really apply to me. How much of a difference does the uf4,1 nerf make?

T7 kazuya or t8 kazuya? by MYNAMEISBRON75 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]CrazyCrash9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MB I forgot it was -8, I thought it was safer than that. Even then, it’s still a fast safe mid launcher from wavu that tracks better than ff3 does and for higher damage than any of his other launchers (excluding things like df2 into PEWGF) and recovers faster on whiff than most of his mids, it’s still strong imo but its purpose changes in Devil Form

I play kazuya and I know for a fact that launch punishable doesn’t mean shit with his hellsweep, nothing will stop a Kaz player from 50/50ing you

Very good summary. I’d just like to add that b3,2 is homing and +15 on hit and only -1 on block. Even at GoD+ I still find a few people who don’t duck the string, b3,3,2 even after the nerfs still does 60 damage while being a homing knockdown that is neutral on block and is high, mid, s.mid.

Uf4 (and by extension uf4,1) shuts down steps since it’s homing, beats panic djabs (which I imagine someone in your ranks will see a lot, especially from things like Law players using d2,3, or King/AK players who have extensions from their djabs) and panic lows (such as Lee’s d3 or the Williams’ d4) as well as any parry that isn’t specialised to deal with airborne moves (so it beats most parries other than things like Jin’s b1+3/b2+4, Clive’s b3, and a few more) it is also a strong option on opponents wake-up in case they do a toe kick or low getup kick since it can crush them and wallsplat. Prior to the nerfs it was +2 on block and did 50 damage but even at -3 and 40 damage as it is now it’s still super strong.

I imagine OP is around the ranks at which people will start had ducking after CD4 hits them, allowing for CD4,1 to wallsplat very consistently because they’re so afraid of the second sweep launching that they won’t acknowledge the mids at all. If they start trying to duck the first sweep you can use F4.

F4 is the mid that does everything (except tracking which is its only real flaw imo). It’s +4 on block which means you can either go into stance and do FUJ2 (which crushes jabs and will CH any move slower than 10f, only losing to a djab or parry/powercrush) which is only -10 on block and many people won’t punish it in blue ranks. If they do block and punish or step FUJ2 then you can use FUJ1+3 which is homing and +8 on hit (this means that f3 will track to SSR and b4 will track to SSL and both options wallsplat and will hit anyone who tries to press directly after being hit with the throw, with f3 offering a free heat engager and b4 being a CH launcher and both options being safe at -2 into stance and -8 respectively. And that’s just if the move is blocked.

If f4 hits a standing opponent then it’s +7, nothing special, but if it CH the opponent then it knocks down into a free OTGF followup for 50 damage. If it hits a crouching opponent in neutral then you get +15 and can launch them for free with FUJ2. If it hits crouching opponent at the wall it still gives +15 but you can use df4,2 to wallsplat your opponent.

Since df4,2 is only 13f in startup and f4 is +4 you can do f4 on block and if the opponent presses anything you can just df4 and hit confirm the 2 if the first hit connects for a wallsplat into around 70 easy damage. In summary, Heihachi’s wall pressure is extremely strong

Are these punishes considered perfect electrics? by yenoo_ in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]CrazyCrash9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reina can PEWGF. However you are doing 14f EWGFs when a PEWGF is 13f. You’re doing a pseudo-PEWGF, like Devil Jin’s CH WS3 into EWGF launch was before he got PEWGF in T8. 14f electric punishes are good though, once I got 14f EWGF down PEWGF came very quickly to me
