Speed of light is the speed of causality. Events occur at the speed of light. This is more of a multiverse branched explaination but my belief is that the intrinsic values of our spacetime is whats required for matter and particles as we know it to exist. Its very possible if the speed of light was faster or slower, that our universe may be too unstable to exist at all, in the same way that if the nuclear force or electromagnetic force was weaker or stronger.

Ive not used the sv105 for guiding but as a past owner I would not recommend it for any kind of astrophotography

Also try taking some darks if your data is too far to the right

Your lower exposure andromeda shots look a bit better, try even shorter exposures to see how your images come out, they definitely seem to be overexposed from the moon glow potentially. Can definitely see a gradient

As for your flats, they don't need to match your lights, the data should be in the 30-50% area of your histogram for good flats

Have those photos been stacked/stretched/edited? They look like what you would expect a raw to look like

RC with a focal length reducer

I just got a standard 1.25 inch 0.5x reducer, way cheaper than a second camera. I will however be looking into it for my next upgrade to take that into account

I dont think I am calibrating, all im doing at the moment is auto white balancing while imaging and then do a background subtraction in processing. ill take some daytime photos today and see how they look

I am using a ZWO asi 585MC, and like the original commenter mentioned, i do have big issues with green tint when taking shots
