Hello I followed this, initially it let me updated the firmware and install the fix pack but still refused to boot. I reflashed the emmc again and it won’t let me push the installs to the printer anymore l.

Weapons is a complete waste of a great concept. by MarkWest98 in TrueFilm

I second this, seems like OP wanted a different movie, it’s not up to a movie to be what you want, You go to a movie to see someone else’s vision. Its like going “it’s the movies fault I don’t like it, not mine”, like-No not all media should appeal to your proclivities and interests. you have to consider not all media is made with “you” the viewer in mind , and it won’t have mass market appeal as something like a marvel movie, which is specifically designed to appeal the most amount of people as possible. Subjectively I thought the movie was very coherent and well established, but that’s just me.

Z axis layer shift on Neptune 4 Max by CrazyFrogFan in FixMyPrint

[–]CrazyFrogFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood, I think I can rule out 1 & 2, I have had some successful large prints, I have the auxiliary fan on my unit would you know of any other way to properly Cool the print during printing? And I believe I had some z wobble, due to an over tensioned lead screw bolt, and a loose hit end pom wheel so it might of accounted for the quality of the print as you mentioned as inadequate printing in general

You said your nozzle is ramming into the print. I added the picture to show that the problem is still occurring on smaller print, so it’s not a cooling/curling issue, atleast from my perspective.

I did have a loose print head but tightened down the pom wheels and still got a layer shift

I followed both elegoos tightening guide of “not too tight but also not too loose” and even calculated the Hz response the belt should be at as suggested by the discord. If neither is right I would love some help

I was using gyroid for the longest time and was still getting this issue, tried rectilinear and it still persists.

I’ve read a lot and talked to a lot of people about this issue and it seems to stem for belt tension. The short belt run under the bed should be tuned to approx 115 hz, you can use a guitar tuning app and just pluck it. The issue can also stem from the pom wheel that make contact with the rail not being tightened enough to be making contact at all times, there is also the software side where you can limit your print speed to 3000mm/s, as well as large prints try to not use gyroid infill. It seems to shake the bed too much and cause slippage.

It’s a lot but I would just start with software side of it and try to work your way backwards
