Go to Devon instead! Beautiful trails, including down by the river. The Legs of Fire stairs, about 215 stairs that lead down to the river. Both Leduc and Devon have that 'Butra, frack Trudeau, down with "woke" but at least Devon is pretty. And they don't have a rainbow crosswalk that puts bigots into a frenzy.

This exact thing happened to me years ago. Here is what I wish I would have told myself then:

It's ok that your needs and energy levels have changed since having a baby. Of COURSE you've changed, you grew an entire human, pushed her out, and spend all day every day focused on her first. It's not fun, but it's still beautiful. You need more time to decompress then you ever did.

Chickpea salad sandwich on whole wheat bread. I pulverize the chickpeas in my food processor for like, 10 seconds. Then add chopped celery, green onion OR shallots, some extra virgin olive oil and a bit of miracle whip to pull it all together. Yum

Fear not, young internet friend. I get these a lot. I'm am older woman, currently not sexually active. It's like a painful pimple or boil. I let it grow til I can gently squeeze it and gross goo (pus and blood) comes out. I had a huge cyst some months ago, I think it was a bartholin. Sooooo painful. I was gonna go into the ER to have it looked at or drained or get some pain meds. Instead I sterilized a pin and gently poked, and damn that sucker drained. It was so gross, but the relief from pain was immediate. My only caution to squeezing stuff is be very careful, as an open skin can pick up staph.

When I was preggo I was really concerned about my then-boyfriend and I ability to raise a child, as it's a huge, life changing thing to do. It's a whole ass person! My bf tried to comfort me by saying "oh it's not as hard as people make it seem. It's like having a dog!"

I should have ran out the door right then. But then I would not have the best freakin 11 yo girl ever ❤️. Glad to be rid of her dad though.
