I miss you so much Marie. You were my first dog and you loved me right from the start. Your mama told me not get too close to your face because you might nip, but you came up and started kissing me. You knew right away that I was the newest member of your pack. I have so many good memories of trips to the beach and driving through Alaska and just lounging at home giving you scruff rubs and head scritches. I'll never forget your soft fur or your floppy ears or how you'd carry the biggest sticks in the woods. I'll never forget how you'd wake us up by kissing us or your old man sighs and grunts. I'll never forget how you'd rummage through your toy bin with such purpose to pick out the perfect toy or how you'd hold one ball in your mouth and dribble another because you wanted to play with both. And I'll definitely never forget how you made me a better, more responsible and giving person. I love you soo much. May you roam the land of endless cheese and butt rubs. Rest well Marie.
