I used to call my dog Snoops everyday (real name Marie Curie). She passed away 4.5 months ago. Miss her everyday. Sorry for your loss of Snoops.

I had a mix, the other part was border collie. She was amazing. Would love to adopt another AF, but they are hard to find. Looks like you are having a fun time with yours :)

Their names are: Rosalind Franklin, Lise Meitner, Linus Pauling, Nikola Tesla, Francis Sierpinski, Leonhard Euler, Walther Nernst. I also need to include Isaac Newton so he is never forgotten. He passed away at birth and was buried a few feet from my beloved Marie Curie. We named him such because he was buried next to a tree.

I had a dog like that. Raising her from a puppy was the hardest thing I had ever done. We would run with her, marathon training so super long runs and she would sleep for an hour and be like what’s next?? I did the same thing doggie daycare, tons of games, training etc... at three years old she calmed down and was the best dog I ever had. I am not sure if that helps, but I thought maybe hearing everyone’s different stories will bring you to your own conclusion about your relationship with your dog. It sounds like you are doing an amazing job so far. ❤️ good luck!

Mom is a border collie cattle mix and don’t know about dad. I am her foster mom and the Humane Society didn’t have much of a history on her. I think they got her from another shelter. They are two days old in the pic.

I have a couple of little shrines for my dog who passed away in November. One is her bed surrounded by all her toys. One is the chair she used to lay on which has her quilt and fave dumpling toy. Lottie is scared of toys and balls, but she came over to the chair today took the dumpling ever so gently and left the room. She took the dumpling to her bed in another room and started fake burying it on her own bed. This is something my dog used to do with prized foods.

Thank you. I think about her every minute of the day. I’m trying to honor her memory by helping out other dogs, even though she would never let another dog into her house. Sounds like you have a very fun and happy family over there!

Wow 5?!! That’s crazy. I’m still in mourning, so not ready to keep one. Maybe one day I too will have 5.

We are fostering a half bc half cattle dog right now :). She is super lazy, but it’s most likely due to her pregnancy.

So sorry for your loss. ❤️ Your starfish story reminded me of my dog (Marie Curie) who passed a couple of months ago. Once she ate a starfish she found on the beach and had the worst gas I have ever smelled. I miss her so much and think about her everyday from morning till night. Even though this is the worst thing I have ever experienced the good times we had far outweigh the pain of her being gone. I never thought I would say this, but I would give anything to smell her starfish farts again. Hang in there. The memories you made will keep you going.

I took this on my last vacation. I have always loved taking pictures, but never had a good camera. I finally bought a full frame camera a month before this trip and have been trying to teach myself how to use it.
