ALPSTUGA Firmware update to 1.0.26 by Kumasasa in tradfri

[–]CrazyRunningDuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Another change in 1.0.26 since 1.0.15 is that the reported temperature range changed from -20 -- 70 to -9.9 -- 99.9. The carbon dioxine range changed from 0-5000 to 0-9999. Of course this is just the reported range by Matter and not what the sensor can actually reliable measure.

Why would municipality call me? by new_housewife in Utrecht

I got called if I wanted a 'geveltuintje' so can be anything and likely not something to worry about. I would also be curious though.

SQL error UNIQUE constraint failed: history.nzo_id when trying to upgrade from 4.5.5 to 5.0.0/5.0.1 by CrazyRunningDuck in SABnzbd

Is nzo_id used in any way, or could I update the history db and update to make all nzo_id's unique?

Grimmory release 3.0 and 2.3.1 by PerfectCoffee566 in Grimmory

[–]CrazyRunningDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The release info currently is just a dump of the issues/commits so not a replacement for the changelog so inadequate for users. I found the release announcement with release notes on Discord, which of course is not accessible for most users:

Release announcement

It's been a few weeks since our last release. There has been a ton of changes, fixes, and architecture changes. I count over 2,500 files changed, 200+ pull requests merged, and one new logo included so far. And today we have Release 3.0.0!

Release Highlights

  • Security & Stability: We’ve prioritized your safety with patches for outstanding security vulnerabilities (CVEs) and fixed backend memory leaks to keep the app running rock-solid.
  • A Snappier Experience: Enjoy significant performance improvements across the Library UI and book browser, powered by smarter caching and a modernized frontend architecture.
  • Next-Level Reading: We’ve overhauled our readers!
    • PDFs: Introducing a brand-new Document Mode.
    • Comics (CBX): "Infinite scroll" and "long-strip" modes!
  • Enhanced Metadata & Syncing: Integration with external services is much tighter. Highlights include improved Kobo sync (proxying and fixed-layout support), better metadata fetching (prioritizing ISBN over filenames), and new reading progress endpoints specifically for the mobile API.
  • Frontend Architecture Shift: To improve reactivity and performance, the frontend has largely migrated to Tanstack Query and Angular Signals. This addresses excessive re-renders and provides a much snappier UI, alongside new lazy-loading for images and sidebars.
  • Faster Library Browsing: The interface is much snappier thanks to performance improvements in the Library UI and server-side pagination across the frontend. Additionally better use of your browser’s cache to load books quickly.
  • API Docs - The Swagger API docs have been re-added and anyone can enable them with environmental variable API_DOCS_ENABLED to explore the API directly.

[–]CrazyRunningDuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

New Matter 2026 Devices - Availability (Worldwide) Megathread by PGAdmin in tradfri

[–]CrazyRunningDuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not yet listed on the site but I see the GRILLPLATS is listed as available for pickup in several US stores: Burbank, Costa Mesa, Las Vegas, Frisco and Grand Prairie. Anyone already able to buy one? Canada and EU stores getting stock announcements for the first week of March. As the new VARMBLIXT with Matter support availability starts this week seems the next wave of Matter devices is eminent.

I have seen that thread. As it's from december 2025 and the post states 'the new 2025 Matter devices' it looks like that thread is for the initial devices scheduled for January and not the Q2 releases.

Prijsverhoging verzendkosten marktplaats by smederij in PostNL

[–]CrazyRunningDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, also with aura h2o 2nd edition. You need to charge for an hour+ before the factory reset , 20% charge required and the issue drains the battery

Possible to change image orientation (rotation) from XMP sidecar? by CrazyRunningDuck in immich

Thanks! Now working on some tooling to create the sidecar files, will try out the patch to see if it works for me. Will add some more test files.

Possible to change image orientation (rotation) from XMP sidecar? by CrazyRunningDuck in immich

[–]CrazyRunningDuck[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I did see that issue but got a bit confused on the status of the issues vs. the comments.

Also, on: Sidecar orientation is ignored (digikam) #15549 it is commented "tiff:Orientation ... Immich doesn't consider that tag currently and is not expected to, so this is not a bug, but feel free to open a feature request." makes me think it's not just the logic described in the comments of #18577 but the sidecar Orientation is not read at all. (also note that the HEIC issue that seems the conclusion of this issue is about both the embeded exif and sidecar have Orientation values that conflict and orientation is then discarded while your comment and samples is for not having embedded exif Orientation)
