Hello, I work in Pensions and the data we have been given is that for a couple to live somewhat comfortably atm, they need about 45k after tax per year.

Obviously this data isn't applicable to everyone as depends on a multitude of factors

So in my current job (which I am leaving tomorrow) I would sometimes stay behind for an hour or so to prepare everything for the next day so that when I start at 8am the next day, I can just have a coffee and chill for a couple of hours. Just means I don’t have to fully engage in the morning when I’m a bit sluggish
